Stopped in for a late lunch this afternoon. So glad we did, what a treat! We were starving and sat at the bar. We were helped right away. We ordered a water and hubby a beer. Took our order and mentioned we didn't have much time. We got our food super fast. We ordered the California Roll, the Temptation, and the Scallop Dynamite RollBaked scallops over crispy crab, avocado, and cream cheese roll. Is a peaceful atmosphere, the employees are all smiling and friendly.Great place.

One of the best sushi places we've been to in Fort Worth! We had the sweetest, most amazing server. He gave great food recommendations and checked up on us frequently. The scenery was also amazing. There's a giant waterfall at the entrance when you walk in, the place is very clean, decent sized bar seating, and big TVs. Will definitely keep coming back!

This is not the sushi you're looking for if you enjoy authentic sushi. As you walk in, you're greeted with a cool waterfall wall. Upon closer inspection, notice that the top is falling apart and that it requires some cleaning and maintenance. Unfortunately, this foreshadowed the overall theme for this dining experience. The giant fish tank appeared cool at first but only 4 fish could be seen and then you noticed dirty glass borders. This may have been awesome 8 years ago but now the lack of overall care and age is showing. Same with the seats, tables, and floors. The ambience would have been fantastic when it first opened. However a refresh appears required.I ordered Chirashi as this is my go to if they have it on the menu. It should be a demonstration of fresh sashimi, rice, and colorful arrangement. The fish was off-colored and the tuna was seared for some reason. You should only sear tuna if its not fresh or for a particular dish that calls for seared tuna. Side history note, I opted for no salmon as salmon is not traditional sashimi fish. It was forcibly introduced to Japan by Norwegians in the 1980's under Project Salmon as they wanted to sell Japan their excess salmon. The Chirashi rice had furikake all over it. This covered the obvious low grade sushi rice that was used. We ordered the tempura as an appetizer and they used no panko while over-battering the pieces. Additionally, shrimp was broken in half as if they didn't know how to properly prepare and tempura shrimp. Tempura should not resemble state fair fried food. The service was attentive and quick. However, the servers and bar really don't know anything about real sake. When asked about sake, they immediately start with warm sake that other patrons find popular.Overall this was a disappointment. This might be a place if you enjoy rolls covered in sauce or other accoutrements because you enjoy flavored rice and fish. This is not the place for you if enjoy the taste of raw fish and traditional preparation methods.

We entered the restaurant which boasts of a beautiful waterfall as you walk in. You are quickly greeted at the host stand. It's right by the door, convenient to help you find a table. We sat down at a four top and a lovely blonde, waitstaff young lady came over to help us. She was very attentive and very helpful, and we were really really fortunate to have such a great person helping us.I ordered vegetable tempura, which were on point, warm, crispy cooked and everything that we had was delicious, and hot. Our waitstaff brought us whatever we needed right away. I am highly giving this place five stars because they are always always on point with service, with food value prices, with a taste, temperature of the food, cleanliness, and everything. It is definitely a jewel in the Montgomery Plaza area.

Food: Sushi was amazing! I had the rainbow roll, Shrimp Tempura and Spicy Hawaii. Perfectly portioned and tasted fresh!Service: We were a party of 3 for lunch and were seated right away. Our waitress was very attentive and provided recommendations. Our food came out a bit slow, but our waitress informed us prior to ordering sushi. She advised their sushi chefs were backed up. I appreciated that! We didn't mind waiting at all but if we were in a rush we would've ordered something else. Ambience: it was not at all. I loved the decor inside and appeared very clean.

Made a reservation for a large group for dinner on a weekend. The staff were very kind, but the food took a crazy long time to come out. Like we waited over 45 minutes since we ordered before we saw any food. But once it came out, we enjoyed our meal and everything tasted great, just wish it didn't take so long

This place was amazing me and my fiancé came in to get an order to go. It was midday around 2 PM.We ended up sitting at the bar and spoke with the bartender who made both of us wonderful drinks and showed us their new specialty cocktail menu. The vibe was fun ! I haven't dined in at this specific sushi axiom in a long time and I'm glad we stopped by. We ended up eating our food there at the location and had a great time !!

appetizers were good, we ordered soft shell crab, yellowtail collar and shishito peppers. The sashimi however was sub par at best. Specifically the Uni which tasted like it had been soaked in a cleaning chemical. Salmon was actually good, but we also ordered Toro and it was tasteless.Watered down soy sauce? Seems odd, but only way to explain it.I ordered a glass of red wine (i know weird, but its my thing) 10.00 a glass for wine that had been opened for at least a week. Just a warning, stick to the basics w the sushi and bring your own soy sauce

Food is always delicious, love the crispy wok calamari and Cajun spicy edamame for appetizer. Love the toro and Japanese red snapper sushi. We always get the tower of Pisa, either the spicy tuna or spicy salmon roll, and we also get one of the specialty rolls like dancing eel roll or TCU roll. Service is great. Place is spacious and minimum noise level.
