Super Mercado Monterrey

I went in for some tomatillo and green chilies and they had the amount I needed . However, The restrooms are close to the front and on the as you walk in the place smelled like urine. Not real appetizing. They had some fresh made tortillas.

It would be nice if there was good working number. Did not want to drive all the way back to see if I left a bag. It would have literally saved me a trip.

Fresh meat for all your cook out needs. They have the best and cheapest carne Asada in town. The Avocados are monster size and service is great. The staff is always friendly not much English knowing Spanish helps. As for the parking lot it's a nightmare almost a free for all. Other than the the great food makes it worth the trip.

A very good Hispanic grocery store. By that I mean, it has a lot of cultural food. From freshly made flour tortillas ,cooked carnitas,chicharones. A large variety of meats, vegetables and some utensils, and produce. The only reason I didn't give it a 5star rating was due to the not very courteous cashiers and the meat dept personnel.
