Super Garcia Meat Market

Stopped in for some meat. Impressed by the overall selections and variety throughout the store. A complete Mexican grocer with a huge meat counter.They do have goat BTW, but you will have to ask for it. It's there.

I was surprised by the expansive menu in this little taqueria tucked inside the Super Garcia Meat Market grocery store. The seating area is clean and comfortable with hand painted benches and long tables. The women behind the counter were very sweet with me as they allowed me to practice my Spanish and helped me out when I got stuck. I really enjoyed the food and you CANNOT beat the prices! I went twice and at first had the breakfast tacos on homemade flour tortillas. The breakfast tacos were solid but the tomatillo salsa really stole the show for me. When I went for lunch I had a plate with one beef taco, a chicken flauta with crema and rice and beans. The fajita taco for $1.99 was a really great value. I will be coming back whenever I roll through the area. A bonus is the locally owned grocery store that has lots of authentic Mexican ingredients, a full meat market, homemade tortillas and pastries (pan dulce), and kitchen goods from México like hand painted ceramic platters.

This is a wonderful little market with Big qualities...it includes a great meat market with on hand Butchers. They have some cuts of meats that are already spiced up and ready to throw on the grill. - The staff is super friendly and helpful! And the indoor Taqueria has wonderful, delicious homemade Mexican food - yum!!

They are a classic Mexican style meat market with a cafe. You'll have to pick your times to go. I've been a few times a sometimes they are packed and there are times you can just get in and get out. The food is very good and the service is too. I haven't tried everything but what I've tried it's all been very good.

I was pleasantly surprised with all the options and everything that they carry. Great store and I will definitely go back. I didn't have time to try something from the taqueria but I will the next time.
