This place is pretty sweet! There is a wonderful atmosphere and vibe here and the service is top notch!! This place feels like home .. they have all kinds of beer, wine , seltzers and more. The variety is amazing I love grabbing some thc seltzers and walking around South Main! You can also chill at the bar or grab a comfy antique chair to sit in. This place is great for celebrating bdays or any occasion'

First time here and the atmosphere is super chill and friendly with 30 craft beers on tap and a really friendly bartender. Good music and a cool place to just come and hang with your peeps

We love the laidback vibe of this place. We walk over fairly often for a libation or two and like the updates that include more intimate seating areas in the space that was a store. Staff is always friendly and very knowledgeable about their beers and will be glad to make a suggestion based on your tastes. Nice lil neighborhood place!

Fun chill vibes with a wide range of delicious beers your taste buds haven't tried. Unique spot with a friendly fun staff. Ambiance is great for hanging with friends and certainly a chance to make a few more.

After walking past the Southside Cellar dozens of times, wondering what lurked behind those finely-draped windows, we finally checked it out just after our quick morning at ArtsGoggle. A beer lounge! And a splendid one at that. To your left, will be the to-go area where you can grab beer from a fridge or from the shelf. To your right is the lounge/cellar/taproom area where you'll find a welcoming bar with plenty of comfy seating options. With 30 beers on tap I think they have something for everyone and we found the staff to be friendly and very knowledgeable (as you would expect) on beer choices and they gave us some great recommendations. Beers in hand, we found some highback chairs near the window to sit back and relax. The place reminds me off Pop's Safari Club (sans smoke of course) back when we used to go there, before W 7th got all crazy. It's nice to have a lounge like this - not a whole lot of hustle and bustle, just the beer in front of you and the conversation you're having. Given that they fill growlers as well, I am sure this will be a popular spot with the locals. After our visit, we do plan to make more time to stop in at Southside, you should too.

I grew up in Fort Worth and when I get home (which isn't often enough) I have to hit up Southside Cellar. I love the craft beer scene in Funky Town but nowadays it can't hit every brewery in one trip. Cowtown, Martin House, Panther Island, Maple Branch, Hopfusion, Second Rodeo just to name a few. RIP Funky Picnic! so I know I can hit Southside Cellar and get some beers and vibes all in one!!! Drink at the bar and then grab some cans to go in the package store on the way out! Shawn and the crew are always phenomenal serves as well genuine craft beer aficionados dropping knowledge!

Just found this place by luck. The inviting interior pictures on yelp is what hooked me. Place was comfortable and Tyler who was working that day was super friendly and helpful. The drinks were fantastic! I would go back again in a heartbeat!

Mary is an awesome bartender at Southside Cellar. She listens to what kind of beer you like and makes sure that you are happy with it after sampling before ordering a glass. If you don't like beer, they also have wine. They have daily features on drinks too. The right side of the bar is my favorite because of the cozy but cool vibe.

This place is one of my absolute favorite places to visit in DFW. The ambiance is amazing. They have great music and comfortable vintage chairs to hang out in while drinking the best selection of craft beer in DFW. They gather the best draft brews from the state and the nation. Definitely hard to pass up if I'm out and about.

Big fan of this place! Me and my husband try to go at the very least once a month or so. The vibe is immaculate. Great selections for beer and non beer lovers. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We love to go and read with a drink, or brings friends to chat or play board games! Highly recommend!
