I stumbled across this place for my birthday, as I wanted to try a new brewery. Located in the quaint downtown area of Roanoke, this is a great place to stop if you like beer and/or cocktails. There's ample room to sit inside, a large bar area, clean bathrooms, a large patio in the front, and in the back there's a restaurant and .. what looks like a dining hall in the back if you'd like to order food from a small restaurant. Each time I've visited, the staff was extremely friendly. If it weren't so far from me I'd be here all the time! The beer was top notch, as this was the best Hazy IPA I've had, and look forward to returning and sipping a nice cold beer soon!

Great brewery with food options in the food court next door that will bring your order out to the bar. Or you can take your beer into the food court if preferred. Atmosphere is nice and open with plenty of bar seats as well as communal high tops and standalone tables. Nice outdoor patio when Texas weather permits!Tried a couple of their beers: Miso Smooth (Japanese rice lager - 5.5% ABV) and Soul Fire Ultra Light (American Light Lager - 3.7 ABV / 15 IBU). Both decent enough for what they were, the latter being helped by the fact it was only $3 a pint. For food, tried the newly opened Zaep Zaep Thai joint. Had the Thai Basil Combo Fried Rice and an order of Spring Rolls. Seriously good stuff! Unexpected quality for a food court! The chef (owner?) also came into the bar to check to see if our food was to our liking. Definitely a nice touch and I wish him much success. Olivia's Scratch Kitchen serving African cuisine was the only other option open. Was a tough decision and hopefully will be back soon to try their offerings! There was also a cupcake place (Kid Kakes) that seems to get great reviews, but with Oak St Pie Company just a few doors down... well... sorry Kid Kakes! At only 20 years old, the bartender did a great job serving us and was more genuinely personable than many who have done the similar job for years. All-in-all a great impulse decision after The Original Roy Hutchins BBQ line ended up being far too long to wait in!

Nice selection of draft beer and I like their lagers. Located inside mini food court there is plenty of indoor/ outdoor seating with various sports on the TVs. Comfortable and casual stop.

My husband and I were walking around the downtown area and decided to come in for a bite to eat at the food court. The food court itself was pretty dead but the inside of the brewery was busy. We sat outside on the patio. There is ample amounts of seating and there were a few other groups who were sitting out there with us as well. We decided to order some chips and queso as well as a pizza. Both were pretty good and we like it. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here and hope to return in the future.

On our recent trip from Ohio to Fort Worth to visit family, I discovered Soul Fire Brewing while searching for breweries to visit. And this brewery did not disappoint. We were greeted by a very nice gentleman, and he went through the menu with us and asked our tastes and recommended the Roanoke IPA. We decided to try that . It was a great tasting IPA light on the hoppy tasting side, which was perfect for my wife. John introduced himself to us after he served the beer, and it turned out that he is actually one of the owners. We met one of the regulars and the overall atmosphere was exceptional. You enter through a huge patio filled with plenty of seating into a nice size bar area with plenty of seating as well. We would highly recommend trying this estaishment and we for sure will be back.

Love Soul Fire. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. We're semi regulars for trivia night and it's always busy and super fun! New beers regularly. In the same building there are several other establishments that offer food and sweets. Great outdoor seating as well. Love the ambiance.

This is a great brewery in a great location. What I like best is the numerous food options close by (many in the same building). Soul Fire has a tasty variety of beers. Surprisingly they have beers from other breweries too. On this, my first visit, I stuck to the locally produced brews. Excellent outdoor space to enjoy the drinks... I seem to recall they had mixed drinks too! We also had some delicious Fish and Chips from Churchill's (you can find that review here: https://www.yelp.com/biz/churchills-fish-and-chips-roanoke ). Bottom line: On a nice day, super pleasant place to sip a cool beverage!

This was my second time to visit Soul Fire Brewing and was pleasantly surprised. Whatever bugs they had when they first opened have been resolved the service is great, the beer was just as good as before if not better and the patio is still a great place to relax and people watch

I loved the atmosphere of this place but the beer was so bad that we left it without drinking it and left. I had heard good things about it so I do want to try it again. The service was hard to get what we needed.
