This is a Black owned Food Truck business. The family ran establishment all were extremely friendly. My Brisket Sam'Mich was so tender, and flavorful that I hate that their menu wasn't broader. I'll DeFINITELY EAT HERE AGAIN. I'll need Extra Extra barbecue sauce on my next Sam'Mich though. Lol...this was a 10/10.

As a TX native, I must say that brisket is my ultimate favorite bbq item off the grill. Of course, social media brought me to Smith Spot BBQ, and I was already mentally prepared to wait in line. Thankfully the line moved fairly quickly since the menu is short. I was in line for about five minutes and ordered the nachos and grilled cheese and waited around ten minutes to retrieve my food. Everything was fresh and hot! I couldn't wait to try it, so we went inside to find a table to dig in. The nachos were tasty and packed with brisket, it would have been even better with jalapenos or pico. The sandwich was also stuffed with tender and flavorful brisket. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you plan to visit the Dallas Farmers Market!

My wife and I visit the Dallas Farmers Market on April 9, 2023 and saw this spot and immediately knew we had to sample the goodness. We wanted everything on the menu but we settled for the brisket nachos. It was a good choice and recommendation from the cashier. We are going to try the grilled cheese brisket sandwich next visit. Many people we talked too was giving us their honest opinion about the grill cheese brisket sandwich. That will be our target. Overall we recommend you try this spot out on your visit.

A beautiful day at the Dallas Farmers Market. Was lucky to stumble upon this bbq spot and I'm grateful we did. The line was pretty long when we first made our rounds but we came back after I checked out the market. We got the brisket sammich. It was tender and well seasoned. You definitely don't need the bbq sauce but it's delicious so it's a bonus. I wanted a brisket baked potato but I was too late. It had sold out. We will definitely check them out the next time we come back to Dallas.

Wow! I had seen this stand at the Dallas farmers market and knew I had to come back to try. And impressed is an understatement. I got the lady Mel which is a brisket grilled cheese on Texas toast and also tried the loaded baked potato. The potato was bigger than my head! Covered in brisket, green onions, cheese, bbq sauce and sour cream. He's only at the farmers markets on Sunday and it is worth the trip. The owners are very nice and their food is amazing too. If you're ever at the farmers market be sure to check this place out.

Great spot at the Farmers market. The long was long, we had seen this place was rated a five star and we saw it as a great place on IG. So, based off of all these things we felt we couldn't lose. They have three food items for sale - a brisket sandwich, a cheese sandwich with cheese and brisket nachos. My wife had the brisket with cheese and I had the nachos. The brisket was good, but all the other flavors overtook the brisket taste, so was just okay. The sandwich was a little too oily. The grill master, while great to watch do his work, oiled the grill, meat and bread too much. If nothing else, you have to try the kool-aid. It was great. Try this place if you please, but I've had so much better.
