Let's be real, this isn't cinemark or AMC, but in a way, that's a good thing. It's definitely not as nice, and seats aren't super comfy, but at $2 per ticket the value is unbeatable. The picture was nice and the sound was perfect which are the important things for a movie theater. They also didn't have any previews or stupid commercials which was nice bc that cut our visit 20 minutes shorter than a visit to a full priced movie. The staff was friendly and everything seemed nice and clean. I bet weekends might be a pain bc of teenagers though. So if you are low on funds and want to go see a movie you should give this place a try. Just remember that you aren't paying for a super nice theater. It definitely gets the job done and is easy on your wallet.

Another great experience at another great discount theater :) With summertime comes movie-time and with the ridiculous prices of most movie theaters these days, I usually say, "Ain't nobody got time for THAT!" ...But this place sets my wallet at ease. The tickets are only 2 bucks a pop and the food is reasonably priced too. Also, for what you pay, the place is actually clean and well-kept. Staff is super-friendly (probably all college students) and will help you out if you need help picking a film or something to snack on.Totally recommend.

This is the perfect cinema for young kids. The staff is friendly, the popcorn is good, and I am never worried about wasting money if a child has to leave mid-movie. Great way to see something on the big screen when life keeps you from seeing it when it first comes out.

You get what you pay for. If you go in to the whole experience with the expectation of a $2 movie theatre, that's what you'll get and you won't be disappointed. If you're walking in expecting a Cinemark, you'll be sad. Don't go on a Friday or Saturday night unless you want to be quieting groups preteens in your movie, though.

What can I say besides the fact that this is a dollar theatre at one of the oldest malls in North Texas and I don't feel that any amount of renovations could save this place. I would say only come here if you're desperate to see a movie.

Watch out folks. Now for an old theatre with super poor movie lighting and grunge seats you get to pay full first run movie prices. Use to go so we could afford the awesome popcorn and not end up spending $35 for 2 with popcorn and a coke. We wanted to see the movie so we paid the $8.75 per ticket but didn't get any popcorn :( The whole movie experience wasn't worth it now. Clean it, get new reclining seats and change out your movie camera bulbs and well come back, mainly for the popcorn!

If you are looking for that late 1980s multiplex experience and at bargain prices, this is your theatre. Virtually every in-mall theatre has either gone away with the mall or has been updated. Not here and I wouldn't change a thing. Rush over to the Golden Triangle Mall and choose a discount, second-run film; you'll leave happy.

You can't beat a $2 movie theatre, you just can't. They have enough movie choices that I'm able to take my daughter back on a consistent basis. Yes, the mall is very outdated, but they are working on it. I wish the refreshments were more on par with the ticket pricing, but of course they must run a business. I will keep going here.
