Stumbled upon this place craving a warm k-soup/stew meal. Pretty spacious and clean space, clearly run by some old Korean ladies bringing their home cooking to the masses. Nothing really special here though given the many options you have in the same area. They do have some more authentic dishes that I do not see often on your run of the mill Korean stew restaurants. Would I Go Out of My Way to Try? NoWould I Return? NoAmbiance- 5/10Food Taste- 5/10Service- NAValue- 6/10

I honestly hate giving low reviews especially to small businesses. Coming into the restaurant, it smells like it's been cleaned with dirty rags Ordering upfront is pretty clear cut You get your own banchan and it's all self service which is pretty standard. I usually judge sulungtang places through their kimchi and kkakdugi and I was not impresssed. The kkakdugi is super sweet and almost tastes like danmooji and the kimchi is super bland but has a chunk of gochugaru in every bite. We ordered gogi mandu and within the first bite, there was a hair in there. Thankfully they replaced it right away but unfortunately it only went downhill from there The sullungtang tasted gamey which meant the meat was poor quality. Same with the galbitang. The meat was super tough and the taste was gamey as well. The only thing that was decent was the chicken kalguksu. We unfortunately will not be coming back again

This little hole in the wall was GREAT! The best handmade dumplings I've ever had! I watched them make the dumplings while I ate. So, I'm guessing my noodles were handmade as well. Yum! The owner was super nice. Kimchi was good. Since I don't speak Korean, I kept my receipt so I can order again!

I'm not sure if I was supposed to season my noodle soup myself, but I got their #10 and it was so bland. I just came back from Korea and have been craving some for some good knife cut noodles. This disappointed heavily. Their mandu are also not that great. Food is 1 star, but the owners(?) or staff was so nice so I'll give this place 2 stars. I hate to be a hater but this was so disappointed, I was embarrassed to be raving this noodle dish to my mom for it to be so so bland.

This has got to be one of my favorite kalguksu restaurants in the Dallas/Fort Worth area The soup for the kalguksu was sooo delicious and had that unique flavor that most Koreans might describe as DEEP. And the self-serve kimchi station was definitely a plus! And ~~~ Since the weather's been getting all cold, we went back to try their signature sulungtang dish! It was mind-blowing! The soup was so good! Make sure to put a dash of salt & pepper as well as some of their red chili paste!

I was looking for a seolleongtang spot in the area and they finally opened one! It's in a different part of Carrollton; on WalMart's side and right behind ChickFilA. Spacious restaurant so you can come with a group! The garlic seolleongtang was really good & you smelt the garlic as soon as they put it down. Comes out quick and of course, super hot. The kimchi mandu was good and they were packed with meat/vegetables. My favorite part is the self serve side dishes! I typically eat a lot of radish kimchi, so I'm glad I didn't have to keep bothering my server for more (Rice is also self serve). Planning to come back to try more dishes. There is a fencing club upstairs so you might hear a little bang here and there, but it's not too bad!

This place really hit the spot after my friend and I didn't eat for over 12 hours. The broth of our seafood knife cut noodle soups was so flavorful, and there was a lot of seafood as well. Food came out super quickly, and it's nice they do self-serve side dishes. The food is also relatively inexpensive compared to other restaurants in the Carrollton area. I would highly recommend and would come again!

I tried both types of their dumplings (kimchi and meat filled) and both were probably some of the best dumplings I've ever had in my life. The texture on the outside was soft and the inside of each dumpling was seasoned so well. Seems to be a family run business and the grandma working at the counter was the absolute sweetest. Behind chick fil a on old Denton so it has a very unassuming exterior, but I will def be back to try the other dishes. Pricing was extremely reasonable as well. I got all of the food pictured for $10!!

Yeah worst sulungtang in the history of sulungtangs. Watered down, flavorless, the meat was hard to chew. I had abt 7-8 bites of it and decided I'd rather throw away the money I spent than finish eating this stuff. I can't believe this place is still in business. NEVER AGAIN
