They catered my birthday party for about 25 people and the experience was better than fantastic. The food was amazing and Rachel staffed our event. She kept the food trays loaded and looking nice, made sure the guests had drinks, took out the trash, kept the ice buckets loaded, and cleaned up all the food at the end of the night. The owner, Ted, came by before the party to ensure everything was set up properly and introduce himself. Everything about our experience was top notch and we will 100% use this company again for our next social gathering. Thank you Ted, Jared and Rachel!!!!

I went her for a meet the mayor of south lake event. The food was spectacular. This little small shop/restaurant you can stop in for lunch or get a quick family dinner take out. This place is perfect for that. There was not one thing that I didn't like. The mushrooms suffer with a cheese mixture was mouthwatering. Then there was a brisket, cream cheese with jalapeños puff thing that made me eat several of them. Sheesh so Yummy!!! The dessert was equally as good with the brownie with some kind of dulce de leche mixture. I can't wait to order a meal here. The owner was teddy bear nice.

Just stopped In real quick to grab one of their grab and go meals and I was thoroughly impressed by the Tuscan Chicken With broccoli! Very flavorful, and fresh, even being packed Togo, it was packed well to contain freshness! Def recommend, could Imagine what they can do for a catering job! Give em a chance!

We have used Scratch Kitchen on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The food quality is excellent, and timely service has been consistent.

This business focuses on catering but also delivers and you can takeout. I ordered takeout today and ordered their small lasagna which feeds up to 6 to 8 people and it was phenomenal. It had plenty of meat, cheese and spices and excellent pasta. This is perfect for takeout for families and large and small dinner parties. They also have daily entrees but you have to call by 10:00 AM to make your order for that particular day. Their Banana Pudding must be recognized! It has a rich consistency with the pudding and is not the "standard" pudding, and is mixed with vanilla wafers and bananas. This pudding has to be tasted to be believed how good it is. I also want to add that it is family run and they were so friendly and appreciative of my business. They are a hidden jewel that needs to be known about for this area.

OMG.....was that good! They did a fantastic job recently at our golf outing. The smoked salmon was a giant hit and the grilled chicken was awesome.Their salads are creative; and leave room for dessert. Colby and Ted provided very professional service on a day that had weather challenges. I hired many caterers over the years and with Scratch I got one of the best crowd Reactions ever. Great food and dependable service!

Yum! Went for the first time today for brisket. It was by far the best I've ever had. Will be back for sure.

Southlake absolutely LOVES Scratch Kitchen!! It's the tastiest, freshest, "take home" food that my family has ever eaten. Everything that we've tried has been absolutely delicious! The salmon is especially outstanding. My teenage boys and husband can't get enough of their chicken and waffles & ribs . And we all love to snack on their healthy protein balls. The menu changes daily & if you text the word : SCRATCH to 313131, you will receive a daily menu sent to your phone. What makes Scratch Kitchen so unique is that it's family owned. The owners, Ted and Judy are always there happily working their tails off with their 2 sons. They are also extremely supportive of our local community. Everything is made fresh & to go and made only after you order it. ( Please note, this is not a sit down restaurant, it's all made to take home to eat).You can choose to call ahead if you are in a rush and/or know what you want in advance. Do yourself a favor, don't cook, let Scratch kitchen do the home-made from-scratch cooking for you. You won't be disappointed!

Everything Scratch Kitchen has done for my events is 5star. From setup, prep and take down, their service is impeccable. Quality of food is top notch. The choices are ample and the portions are fine. I've never had an event where someone didn't ask for Ted's contact info. Best reference you can get.

Great family run business that has high quality food at a fair price! Most importantly, they run the business the way it should be run - customer first! If they make a mistake, they more than make up for it. We've bought from them for large events, single-family meals, and multi-family meals, and every experience was very positive. Highly recommend supporting them!
