Super economical given the good service, taste and quality. It is an indian store with a small cafe. Not much of a dining experience, but I loved it for take out. I had the Sambar Idli, Masala Dosa and Ghee Karam Idli and loved them both. It is a must try for a quick bite and easy on the pocket indian food.

Good canteen style Indian restaurant. Not fancy but food is good. The rava onion dosa was authentic, delicious and not greasy. Sambar and lentil/peanut chutney was spicy and flavorful. Service is good and there is a filter water station.

One of the first places I tried in Irving, and in my opinion, it was a decent pick for a quick breakfast with satisfactory pricing. The service was impressively fast, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The ambiance, however, was just okay. Here are some of the options I tried:- Idly: Very good, soft and fluffy.- Vada: Deep-fried and crispy but a bit doughy on the inside.- Ghee Karam Idly: Below average, as the ghee made it very heavy, but the seasoning was right.- Irani chai: Strong and richly flavored.- Filter coffee: Thin and watery; I didn't quite like the taste.

Their chai, mango lassi, punugulu, and chicken pakoda are great deals and absolutely delicious. My boyfriend enjoys their idli.We come here regularly just for the chicken and punugulu.Fast paced environment with nice service and a small grocery store attached. Great for breakfast.

Sarigama cafe along with their Indian grocery store of the same name are situated in a busy little corner in MacArthur Blvd close to Jefferson Park in Irving. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can pick up already prepared vegetarian and meat curries or choose something a la carte off their menu. This time at the cafe I picked up the following:1. Fried chicken - Done Indian style, not the Southern style with batter, but more like smaller chunks of chicken done with bone tossed with spices and most probably shallow fried instead of deep fried. The chicken was cooked past its life and not just within an inch of it. It was the hardest by texture I've ever got at a restaurant. And it was cooked to order, not pre-cooked (supposedly) which was even more surprising.2. Chicken kheema (minced chicken) - I usually prefer this preparation made with the more traditional goat meat, but the chicken was well cooked and done with daal (lentils). They provided a good sized portion for the price, but on the whole it was too salty.3. Chicken fried rice - Indo-Chinese style, done with veggies and chicken pieces. Wish the chicken had more flavor, and it was way too anemic. On the whole, was disappointed with my experience.

Some places are just underrated and this seems like one. This place have great food and service. In my short trip to Irving this was my breakfast and evening snack spot. They have great snacks in evening. However this is not a fine dining restaurant so please don't come with huge expectations. I mostly did a pick up. Ambiance is very casual. It may not seems from yelp reviews but this place is popular, be prepared to be in a line but they move fast. They also have live pani puri station in evening. Would definitely recommend this for South Indian breakfast and Indian snacks.

Disappointing Experience - Worst Food in DallasWe went for dinner around 7:30 PM last week and had a terrible experience. We ordered four items, and not even a single one was up to average standards. I honestly don't know how this restaurant plans to sustain itself in Dallas with such poor-quality food, especially with so much competition around. This was the worst-tasting food I've ever had in Dallas. Here's our experience with the dishes:1.Chicken Tikka Masala - They served stored tandoori chicken pieces in gravy and called it Chicken Tikka Masala. The chicken was so hard that it was impossible to cut with a fork or spoon.2.Chicken Biryani - It lacked any biryani flavor. The ginger-garlic paste wasn't even fried properly, leaving a raw taste and smell. The chicken was completely undercooked, making it inedible. It seemed like the chef was in a hurry to finish his day by 7:30 PM only.3.Garlic Naan - Completely undercooked, tasting like raw dough.4.Bhel Puri - No words to describe how bad it was--just an awful flavor overall. The only thing we liked was the Butter Naan, which came as a complimentary item with Tikka Masala.Usually, I don't post negative reviews, but I couldn't hold back this time. My son got sick after eating this food, and it took him two days to recover. This was an extremely disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Worst food ever .. stale food Unfortunately, I encountered an issue with the freshness of the food, specifically the biryani I ordered. The dish seemed stale, affecting both its taste and texture. I believe that maintaining the quality and freshness of the food is crucial for customer satisfaction.

The place is crowded, and customer service is horrible. I pick up orders here frequently, and it takes the workers a long time to acknowledge anyone who is picking up. One lady never looked up to acknowledge me. I had to get the attention of another lady who was coming out of the kitchen area to assist me. Some advice to the place. Please be mindful that you will need a sign for pick-up orders . Many people who come to pick up are on a time frame, especially if we are working a delivery service. We deserve the same courtesy as you give the customers who are dining or ordering in.
