Salt & Light Collective

Salt and Light is a charming bungalow that offers cooking, baking and arts/crafts classes. They hosted a small pop-up with other local businesses recently. My friend, her son and I checked out the other local businesses as well as goodies from Salt and Light. We sampled a cupcake and chicken tamale with green chimmichutri sauce which were delicious. I also bought espresso and chocolate scones from grace and grains co. which were delicious and crispy. I won a complimentary sourdough loaf from grace and grains which was a lovely surprise. The sourdough loaf is delicious and pairs well with savory things. I look forward to checking out classes or another pop-up event in the future.

Marissa is an incredible chef and was so informative in the tamale cooking class we took with her!!! These are the best tamales you will ever eat. The class is set up with just the right amount of instruction and hands on cooking. She has these classes dialed in and we had a 10/10 date night! We will definitely be back for another class with Rosa.

The kids learned so much at the Summer cooking camp! The staff is so friendly and it was well worth the money with all the delicious food that came home!!!

This is the most amazing place! I have looked and looked for cooking classes for my 10 year old son and finally found the place! The classes are in the cutest converted bungalow and taught by the warm and wonderful Marissa. I've seen my son's confidence grow with each class and the pride he has when we sit down as a family to enjoy the meal he prepared for us is the absolute best. We have come to look forward to Mondays because that's when we get to enjoy one of our son's delicious meals. I cannot say enough good things about Salt & Light and I feel so lucky to have found it. It's a total gem!

Went here for the calligraphy class and it was a great experience! The instructor (Allyson) was informative and personable. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back here for another class!
