Presley waited on us. They've got a great array of Italian Cuisine. I like the steak in toasted bread, garlic & drizzled with/ gravy. We tried the Caesar Salad- Yummy & Salmon patties with arugula & drizzled with ayole sauce. However their thin crust 10" pizza was not as thin as I like. They do offer a thinner crust made with cauliflower (non- gluten). Overall, with sweet tea & a glass of Peroni on tap; good dining & the place was nice and fairly calm. Parking great & restrooms & dining area super clean. Presley was very kind & customer service was tops!

Our absolute favorite place for Italian food! Aaron and his team always provide the best service! The restaurant is warm and inviting! They recently (completely) remodeled the bar. The bar has an amazing selection of everything, including special wines.Every meal we have ordered here is always been excellent. We particularly love the pecan crust chicken. And for an appetizer, we always lean towards the fried mozzarella cheese, which is handmade from scratch, every day. Our favor is a cannoli for dessert. And the garlic bread they serve with every meal, is also very tasty! This is must try if you've never been here! We love it and will absolutely be coming back, sometime soon!

I frequently doordash food from here & have never had a problem, its always hot & fresh. My fiance & I decided to go eat at the restaurant on thursday evening. We walked in, around 6:30 pm and it was not busy at all, we got seated immediately. We looked at the menu and chatted for a bit while waiting for someone to come take our orders. We sat for 20 minutes....no one came. The table right behind ours waiter definitely saw us and we just assumed oh he's probably closing them out we'll just wait a bit more. Still...no one came. We kept looking around trying to get the attention of somebody, its like we were invisible. So then we decided to just get up and leave-- the hostess who sat us just said "Have a good night!" she did not even put it together that she just sat us down??? I don't mind waiting, but being completely ignored is not a good feeling.

This place is a GEM! Handmade, hand tossed dough and I know you will understand when I say crisp to the tip! Even with all those toppings, perfectly fired to perfection. I truly will miss and crave this when back in KC. Flower Mound, Lewisville area is spoiled with this authentic Italian delight. The Caesar salad, fried zucchini and complimentary garlic bread was to die for (sorry, no pictures we devoured before thinking to take a shot) Afterwards, make sure to try the Sicilian coffee and grandmas homemade chocolate pie!!! Omgoodness, just can't stop! DELICIOUSNESS

1:00 Pm, I decided late lunch was better than no lunch and I currently find myself with a stomach ache because of my decision. That being said, it's entirely my own fault.Waking back in to Salerno's I notice a lack of stench mentioned in my last review. Happy to see that happened to be a one time occurrence. This time round, the scent amongst patrons was either refreshing or of the food we were enjoying. And please, put emphasis on enjoying.I took a seat at the bar, far from the door this time round. Was greeted by the same man as last time, given water and then attended to by a pleasant young lass. Ordered fried zucchini, their Antipasto, Lillian Chicken, and their house bread.Salad was the first to arrive, and my was it tasty. Mixed with artichoke hearts, sun dried tomato, salami, pepperoni, and prosciutto-with a citrus vinaigrette. There was plenty cheddar, Gouda, and Swiss scattered about. My recommendation to the establishment would be a shift to shredded, or smaller blocks of cheese for this salad. Otherwise, the mix of flavor and sauce was great. I was somewhat over stimulated by the sauce near the end as I ran out of leaf to go with everything else. A VERY hearty salad, which surprised me. More filling than the Lillian.About here is where I ordered my Coors light. They provide cold glasses for non-tap drinks.Next to come was the bread and fried Zucchini. One bite of the fried Zucchini and I could not stop. It is reminiscing of calamari-minus the texture of squid past the first crunch in your bite. The red sauce that comes along with this is splendid. I'm not one able to eat red sauce much in one sitting, but Salerno's red sauce has a clear taste that feels authentic, when keeping other Italian red sauces in mind. The house bread is always a fine choice. You'll not go wrong with it.The chicken Lillian was the last thing I'd ordered. The chicken topped with sliced ham and a white whine and garlic sauce was delicious. The dish could go with more chicken and no noodle, and be a solid entree all alone. This being said, the noodles the Lillian comes with are noodles. Pasta. There is not much commentary on them aside from my partial trouble getting them with my fork. I blame my earlier workout and sore hands for this though. Half way through the Lillian, I knew I would not be sated with this main dish alone.so the dessert menu was requested and delivered before I'd finish my plate. (Chicken Lillian is the 2nd picture of this restaurant I have up the first being their cheesecake from an earlier review.)Last review I tried and rated their least expensive port. This time round, I tried their middle price. A Taylor Fladgate 10 year. Though a different brand than their Fonseca bin 27, it was noticeably more dessert-y than the former. Fonseca would pair much nicer with good conversation and late night than as a dessert port with its mixed red and portly taste, but the Taylor Fladgate is certainly a good port to sip on while chatting and waiting for the after-dinner check in this establishment. In addition to the port, Bread pudding was a choice on the roster that was recommended by the same fine lass who recommended the Lillian. If you were a fan of sweet rolls of any kind in your youth, or still are today-then get the Bread pudding. I beseech thee, you'll need hold back praise in the form of curse words, this dessert is so surprisingly delicious for one who does not partake in such rich and tasty sweets so often. The holy union of a bread recipe, and some form of secret caramel sauce-this berry strewn and massive lump of yum is a sweet-toothed bakers delight. Bringing memories of chowing down dessert at a manor in England, the balcony of the Dallas country club, or on a cruise-ship. Each bite gives you visions from the eyes of a plump, wealthy child with far too much time for sweets. Request to okay the bread pudding game if it is your first time trying it, a fun thinker while you enjoy this dessert. The establishments staffing assignments and priorities still elude my understanding, though I've noticed it seems they adapt to your party. Myself, a solo feaster this afternoon-was given prompt and timely service as needed. Water filled if asked for, and constant check-ins. A party nearby was given more leeway to enjoy their conversation, with check-ins being less frequent, but seemingly done so as to interrupt their time with one another less. Overall the vibe is still a mix of a higher end place and a casual cafe lounge, but it seems to be pleased with this niche of a feeling. I would expand my recommendation from mid-age couples to include well-off, or we'll established mid-20's patrons as well. Definitely a restaurant enjoyed by the more relaxed, or those who understand how to enjoy a slower pace than the more hyper do. Still looking forward to how the final product of the renovation they're undergoing will be.

Salernos in Highland Village allowed us to celebrate my wife's retirement in their private room last weekend. Aaron and I went over the appetizer menu and chose several items. All were delicious but the calamari was awesome and the hit of the party. The service was great with two serving drinks, which they kept flowing, and the owner Aaron kept the food coming too. All of which was reasonably priced. I had not one complaint and was overly impressed by it all. Thank you Aaron and your crew!I'd give you 6 stars if I could.

All i can say today's service was top notch! We had Declan and he was awesome. It was my mother's birthday and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I got the pasta party and it didn't disappoint. Everyone at my table also enjoyed their meals! I would recommend this place and will be returning soon!

I've loved their Chicken Mogia Salad for many many years. Stopped there for lunch today, looking forward to this signature salad for lunch. Major disappointment. The chicken was extremely dry and chewy. In fact, it looked like it had been cooked and sliced earlier, maybe yesterday, then reheated. The cut edge of the chicken was browned and crisp, instead of moist and juicy. I mentioned this to the waitress and she said she'd send the manager over. He never stopped by.Very disappointed that one of my all time favorite salads tasted so bad. This is not up to the standards of the Salerno name and reputation! Please do better!
