Great food, great service. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the rice tastes a bit odd, but not bad.

More tex-mex food.. it's a nice environment cozy I like the previous Mexican restaurant that was there. Again doesn't have a huge wow factor. The portions were okay service was okay. But it doesn't stand out

Family of 5 (3 kiddos)... $104 for cold food. Got cheese enchiladas that the cheese was not even melted. Our waiter was also the bartender I assume since he was behind the bar most of the time. They stuck us in a corner and forgot about us. Our waiter only came twice... once to get the order & once for a drink refill. He never brought more chips, napkins and anything. The restaurant is situated inside the Brazos mall. The decor was minimal and the restaurant was clean. The women's restroom had doors that wouldn't stay shut. When we checked out the cashier told us " wish you would have said something when you got the food" to which we replied "he never came over to check on us where we would say anything." We will not be back, that was just way overpriced.

We have eaten here several times. The food is average but not bad. Tonight we ordered two taco plates and a chicken quesadilla. We waited over an hour and decided to leave because it was 8pm and our 3 year old was tired and hungry. There were seven tables of customers and two of those were already done eating. They were not busy. When we were leaving I paid for our queso and two drinks. They didn't try to make things right or tell us our food was almost ready, very disappointing.

It's not the same as the other place. We were hoping it would be good. The food is way too salty. My husband had the cheese enchiladas and I have never tasted queso that was so salty. My soup was also way too salty. I wish restaurants would use minimal salt and let the customer add for their own taste. The service was excellent even though they had a sign that said they are short staffed. The chips and salsa were good.

Amazing service! The food was to die for. Skinny margaritas OMG! I personally think is better than Uncle Julio's.

This is a hidden gem. The service was great, food and drinks even better. We got the Mexican molojeta (no idea how to spell that). The meat was so tender and the cheese was delicious! Highly recommend

A very good Mexican restaurant with fresh ingredients. Salsa is good but the cabbage salsa that comes with the chips and salsa is really good. I always ask for seconds since it quickly disappears into my mouth. We've only been here a few times, but the dinners we've had are always tasty and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Keep in mind, you're not in Dallas or Houston, you're in Mineral Wells so it's very good food for a town with a population of 17,000.

Heard about this place and was able to go there. Nice inside (it's in a strip mall). Nothing fancy. Get seated but at the front there a sign about how they are short staffed and please be patient. Use to see this after the pandemic but I guess it's still in effect here. Wants patrons to be aware so if it's awhile when you get served that's it. You get your usual chips and salsa nothing to write home about but they also give you a little dish that looks like ceviche. Turns out it's cabbage that's soaked in jalapeño juice. Was ok but different. Ordered Tacos Al Carbon.....fajita meat wrapped in tortilla with R&B. So bland....not hot, barely warm. No flavor whatsoever. Food got cold within 5 minutes. Pretty sad. Meat had no season at all. Never got a refill of tea. I know they say they were short staffed but they looked pretty fully staffed compared to the customers. Was not busy at all. I left within 30 minutes. Oh if you use a debit card you get charged 3.5%...really....not CC a debit card. I gave cash so she had to subtract the total even tho I gave cash upfront. So they automatically charge you regardless if you give cash...like the little sign says on the counter. This is a small town. There's other Mexican Restaurants in town(not a lot) that are better than this one. Also once I got my food waitress never came back to see if I needed anything. Oh she went to other tables. I was seated so I could see the whole restaurant. Good luck but don't waste your money.
