Royal Kitchen in Plano, TX is a great no-frills Chinese restaurant. We ordered the Stir Fried Pork Tripe with Cilantro (香菜炒肚丝), Vegetarian Cauliflower in Dry Pot (干锅花菜（全素)), Beef Flat Noodle (干炒牛河), and Beijing Roast Duck (北京烤鸭).I highly recommend all the dishes we tried! I loved the stir-fried pork tripe with cilantro. The cilantro and the scallions perfectly complemented the savory, juicy pork tripe. The flavor of this dish was also very "authentic" and reminded me of comforting home-cooked Chinese food. Don't let the tripe scare you-- it's got a great chew and is very common in Chinese cooking. I also loved the Cauliflower in a Dry Pot. This dish was definitely a bit spicy so beware if you have a lower spice tolerance. The tender cauliflower soaked up all the aromatic spices and flavorful oils of the dish. The cabbage, green bell peppers, and scallions were all perfect additions! I will say that the dish is very oily and greasy-feeling which isn't the best (but this fragrant and spicy oil contributes to making the overall dish delicious).The Beef Flat Noodle was your standard stir-fried beef with flat noodles. Savory, with very tender beef slices, and oily flat noodles. I do think that this dish could've used a bit more salt.Finally, the Beijing Roast Duck was delicious. The duck came with some thin pancakes, sweet bean sauce (aka Tian Mian Jiang/甜面酱), scallions, and cucumbers. It's always so fun making little Peking duck pancakes with the sauce, vegetables, and duck slices. I would recommend adding an order of the pancake and the sweet bean sauce because you definitely will need more of it given how much duck you get! The roasted duck itself had very crispy yet fatty skin and juicy meat.At the end of the meal, you can also ask for the duck bones to be made into a soup with cabbage and tofu (for $10 extra). This soup was so flavorful and comforting! I highly highly recommend getting both the roast duck and the soup!

Highly recommend Royal Kitchen! We had heard great things about the Peking Duck and it far exceeded expectations! The duck was masterfully carved and served with all the usual accompaniments including flour crepes (as opposed to steamed buns). We also had them take the remainder of the duck back which they prepared into two additional separate dishes - fried with lots of delicious seasonings, and into a warm, comforting soup. It was all incredible. We also had the fried green beans which were the best I've had as they included some Sichuan pepper and the custard buns, which came piping hot filled with rich custard. We ate every last bite and can't wait to come back! The owners were also so kind and attentive during our visit!

We came to try the peking duck and it was good!!!!pork pao bun's bread was so soft and served warm. Braised Pork belly had tender pork and had the five spice flavor. Lastly we had the yangzou fried rice which to me was just regular fried rice because it had spam in it and was missing the flovor compared to others i have tried. Then the shrimp fried rice was something i could have had by itself because of a smokey flavor.

My husband and I loved this place! The duck was exceptional!! The skin was super crispy and also came with sugar to dip which I never had it that way before. But it just works! The pancake was super thin. Probably the thinnest pancake I've ever had with duck but I prefer it thin. The owner was super nice and talked to me about how they age their duck. I highly recommend this place. We live in Uptown but will definitely make the drive again.

Ordered takeout and overall very pleased. Online ordering easy, huge selection. Pork egg rolls were decently crisp despite travel time, and you could actually taste the different filling ingredients. Gyoza didn't travel as successfully (styrofoam container with no hole to vent steam so they were a little soggy). No dipping sauce served with it, so kind of fell flat. Orange beef had terrific punch and flavor. Chicken in Szechuan sauce was also really tasty. Wasn't spicy, and did not see a way to indicate desired spice level with online order. The two entrees came with choice of white or fried rice. Went with the more flavorful fried rice and was good without taking away from the proteins. Overall solid Chinese food, will try again.

We came in as a relatively big party for my mom's birthday and we had an amazing time. The food was amazing and the owner gave us a hint on how to eat the duck. Would definitely listen to her it was amazing. She even gave us extra sauces to try out with it and was very sweet to our party even singing happy birthday to my mom with us. I would definitely come back again!

We tried out Royal Kitchen last night because of a review on the Peking Duck and the review was right, this was perfectly cooked. The service was spectacular and the food was amazing. My husband got the Orange beef and the texture and taste was absolutely perfect. I also tried the Aromatic Crispy duck and I can't say enough good things about it. In every bite of the duck, I could taste all of the aromatics that the chef used. If you are in the mood for Chinese, do yourself a favor and try it out. we will definitely be going back again!

Royal kitchen has the best and most authentic egg drop noodle soup and duck ! the owners are amazing and provided outstanding service during our visit ! my family and I will be back !

北京烤鸭很好吃！酸辣汤也很好、又酸又辣。北京特菜很好做的也很漂亮的饭馆。The Peking Duck is very delicious! The hot and sour soup is also really good, very sour and very spicy. They serve BeiJing specialty meals cooked with precision, and it's a beautiful restaurant and presentation.
