Rollerland West

This place needs to be renovated. Concessions are not good so eat before you go. The floor needs repair for a smooth skating throughout. There is no ramp to the roller floor so you may fall if you not good on roller skates.. not sure if that means not ADA compliant. They should have some unlimited but free events/ foods items while visiting.

We attended open skate today and I was so disappointed by the way my kids were treated by the DJ and her little 3 teenage boy entourage. She was rude, snappy and apparently can't play Disney music which is pretty ridiculous considering the majority age there was 10 and under. I believe the boys might work there too which is even worse. When my 9 year old asked how they did a trick, they mocked her outloud. I'm not paying for little snotty teenagers to belittle my kids and enforce rules on everyone (with attitude) except her friends who were allowed to skate as fast as they wanted and do whatever tricks they wanted. No thanks. We had a much more pleasant experience at silver wheel and they DO play requests from the little ones.

Ok this place is seriously great! Got here for the 7-9 skate. Already a good handful of people, by 7:30 it was an overflow handful but the energy was awesome! Only $5 gets you in and a pair of skates. I brought my own but also grabbed a pair of house skates. Not my fav as the boot is only a half boot so opted to use my own instead. This didn't stop the obvious seasoned attendees. House boots everywhere and going fast! The music was mostly current hits/tik tok faves but still super fun! I worked up a good sweat in an hour and a half. They also played games & the usual couples skate. Perfect time to end my session. Hubby needed me to make a milk run so I had to jet anyway. Grabbed a whole pickle & Diet Pepsi & left with a welcoming smile from the kid at concessions. See y'all next Wednesday!

My kids love going skating. Old school roller rink. Well maintained. Decent concession stand. Fun place overall.

DJ was cool great place to roller skate best tip I can give is eat before you go or after. But if your just looking for a good place to skate then this is it

I've been trying to get my husband to come here for years. A date night? No. We are too old to be hangin out at skatin rinks he said. It took having kids to bring the kid out in him to come here. As kids, we used to live in roller skates. I haven't skated in 10 years+ though prior to this. You can tell this place used to hoppin in the 80's and 90's, maybe even 70's. It hasn't changed much either since. The skates are old and have a smell. The carpet looks like it's been here since it opened. It's a little dingy. But.. Hey.. do you see any other skating rinks around? No, so this is as good as it gets.$30 for 2 kids and 2 adults to skate. That is with roller blade upgrades for the husband and I. Definitely a good workout, half way around the rink and I was sweating! There is no doubt that I will be back. I just wish they opened earlier, open later than 9-10:30, and more days for public skating.

Great place it was my first time skating and it was so fun, they play good and trendy music. I saw another review saying they didn't play any music from boy bands but they do now when I went they played ''Butter''- BTS.

We had a blast with the little kids who were afraid, then did want to leave because they figured it out.

Absolutely horrible experience the last two times we were there. This time the worst! So we just left Rollerland West skating rink. Massive amounts of people. Told the "manager " the last time we were her the "DJ" was not paying attention and plowed into my son, a new skater.. She dismissed me even though I said I am not being a Karen just have him watch out for kids. 3 Birthday parties and at least 200 people with older kids knocking kids down. One lady was at the return and said one of the girl employees snatched a trainer from her son yelling at him because it wasn't his. She was furious too. Then my daughter got plowed by some teenage jerk and I was done. Way too many people. So on the way out I asked the "manager" Are there any rules? Is there anything you or your staff do to protect younger children? She said "We have the ref (the DJ who plowed my son last time we were there) watching the floor" I said "how's that working for you?" Then I asked for the max capacity from the county for the "establishment" and she said it 900. I said seriously and 1 person on the rink (who doesn't do his job) is responsible for the amount of people in here now? She said "oh we can have 2 but it's to our discretion. WTH? Kids getting hurt left and right and that's her response ? Yeah we will be finding another place to go

I called and left a message as directed to have someone call to provide party info. After 2 days and no call I called again on Saturday. I graciously called this establishment again to book a party and was told all info and details for booking would be emailed to me. I confirmed my email at least FIVE times before ending the call with someone who says he's the owner of the rink. Now that I'm ready to book agree FINALLY receiving the email he is now telling me that time is reserved. I find it VERY hard to believe that someone booked the SAME EXACT time that I asked for within this short span. When I called to discuss he took no accountability, in fact when I read the email he bluntly said "well I made a mistake"... no apology added. I ended the conversation stating I wouldn't book anything with the type of attitude and customer service that he's providing. If he's the owner then the employees are probably worse. I wish I could rate this place a negative 10.
