Robertson's Hams

Been stopping in there for many years, great products and Sally and crew are always friendly and helpful.

I have been stopping at Robertson's in Baird for the last 8 years going to Midland or Lubbock from Ft. Worth! Always get a smoked turkey sandwich with swiss and 2 or 3 cans of beef jerky. Sally and her staff are absolutely outstanding.

Really good little spot to stop. Super sweet workers. We had ham and cheese on a roll instead of sliced bread and it was perfect. The jerky was good too and I had some divinity that was so fresh!

My husband and his mom took me here the other day so she could buy jerky to bring back to my parents. SERVICE - The woman helping us at the counter was very sweet. We were deciding between a few items and she was incredibly patient. FOODHam - His mom enjoys the ham here so she got some shaved for her. We tasted it and you could really taste how fresh it was. Jalapeño Summer Sausage - This had a good flavor to the sausage with a spicy kick. I'm starting to realize that jalapeños are pretty popular in Texas. I enjoyed this sausage a lot. The entire family snacked on it before dinner. Beef Jerky - I have yet to try this as we are bringing to back to California but for reference, one pound was $39.99. Pretty pricey so hopefully it's worth it!

Hard to believe, but beef jerky joints are not very common. I found one two years ago on I-40, and this year I found one on I-20.The place is small and unassuming and I almost missed the exit because there was only one sign and I was cruising at 80mph and didn't realize it was at THIS exit.Only one kind of beef jerky but it is basic and hearty and not over-processed and over-flavored. The jerky is very dry and the nice lady in the store says the best way to eat it is to put a small piece in your mouth and just let it soak there in your spit. The flavor comes out when the meat gets good and soft.They also have summer sausage, smoked sausage, bacon and other cured meats. You can have a sample of any of the cooked meats.Would definitely stop by here again if I happen to be passing through.

So disappointed the ham sandwich was the worse I have ever had they put 4 thinly slices of ham a piece of cheese and that was it !!it sucked they should be ashamed They get minus 10 stars !!Don't go there

This Company is a SCAM. Do not ever order online from them. My package was never received and they still haven't issued a refund also totally ruined my Father's Day gift and are unwilling to help customers.

Service:I have passed Robertson's 1000 times on the freeway and always wanted to stop. I recently made it a point to drive the 35 miles to try out their bacon and beef jerky. When I walked in, I was engaged with by a less than enthusiastic employee or owner. I'm not sure which. She seemed slightly condescending throughout our exchange. However, I purchased a couple pounds of bacon and a $50 pound of beef jerky in a canister. As I was leaving, I thought to myself that maybe the next time I come I will have a better experience.Food:When I returned home, I enthusiastically unwrapped the bacon and cooked about eight pieces. I had read articles about how brand-name Bacons many times inject liquid smoke into the meat instead of actually smoking the meat, so I was very excited to get this from a local shop that smokes their own meat. After I remove the bacon and let it cool for a minute I was somewhat pleased with the flavor, however, I came to the realization that the bacon I buy in the supermarket, specifically, Wrights, has a better flavor. You might want to try Robertsons for yourself however, for bacon I probably won't be going back. I would still like to try some of their other smoked meats as long as the service is good.The beef jerky is pretty good. However, I have also found some throughout the state that rival it. I hope this review helps you in some way.

Their food is always great. The ham for sandwiches and the smoked cheeses. Also their beef jerky is the best in town. This is a family run business and the owners have had this business for many years.

We have always loved the Baird location, it is a mandatory 'must stop in' when we are anywhere in the vicinity of Baird TX, the franchise owners, Sally & Scotty, are just the very best folks ever, and any product we purchase, is top quality/flavor, most especially those good ol' ham sandwiches
