Ate here while Christmas shopping in the stockyards. I ordered a a steak salad and a Bloody Mary ... I asked for Tito's but was told that they don't support their stance on hunting.. they also don't carry casa amigo tequila...I LOVE THIS! I had no idea that Tito's didn't support hunting and it's definitely a way of life in TX. I would like to recommend FLECHA AZUL as a replacement for tequila! Mark Wahberg is the owner and he's a Christian who's now selective on his roles. Anyhow, I love this place and recommend it! Food is great, decor is western... love the Texas lifestyle!

Billing scam alert! Be sure to check your bill carefully before paying!I went to lunch with a friend, visiting for the first time, and we both ordered a 10oz Ribeye, which includes a side. When the bill arrived, we were both charged extra for the sides. Both the waiter and manager were aware of this issue but still presented the incorrect bill, blaming the GM, who was unavailable to address the matter. Had I not looked at the bill, they would have gotten away with this scam! What a disappointment!Cowtown should crack down on this activity!

Looking for a delicious steak dinner this is the place. After watching the cattle walk on exchange Ave we headed down the street and ran into Riscky's. We were seated immediately by a very sweet person. The waiter was there in minutes taking our drink order. We ended up ordering a dinner for two $99.00. It came with an appetizer we ordered potatoes skins. Which came out cheesy and hot. Also included were two fresh salads. The main meal was a 14 oz cowboy steak with mash potatoes the other meal was a filet nice size and cut like butter. The Ambiance was totally western and had many displays of artifacts. Felt like you were in someone's home in Texas.

Decided to give it a try! Waitress was great! Food was average. Fries and baked potato were for sure old. Steak was good a bit overcooked and pricey for this kind of place. The biggest turn off was one hostess plying with and braiding another employees hair right at the hostess stand.

As first timers to the Stockyards, we felt he "had to" eat here. We had about a 45 minute wait for our group of 9. It was a busy Saturday, so we expected a wait. Our server Shiann (I think?) was friendly and efficient. I had the Buffalo sirloin and it was cooked as requested. It wasn't anything fancy or special in terms of seasonings or presentation.

I went in hoping the hype was real, but in all honesty I left extremely disappointed.The food was dry, bland, and looked like it came from a market package. Their baked potato was so dry, not even the sour cream helped. Their meat was ok, but not at all what I expected. I only went as many people said I must try it, but I am for sure not going back if I ever find myself back.

Omg! Hands down the best ribeye I've ever had! Tender is an understatement. Flavorful and juicy, it had all the makings on my best steak meal. I appreciated my waitress, but not so much the hostesses. They weren't as particularly warm, but I would still come back for more of that wonderful food! The restaurant has older decor, but it fits with the western theme. If you're in the area, especially around lunch, definitely try it out!
