Rio Brazos Grill

Started out with the brisket empanadas which were fantastic then followed it up with a wedge salad and a wonderful tenderloin with a béarnaise and twice baked potato. Service by Tess was excellent and John, the general manager, is very hands on. Again each person you interact with is both personable but professional. The ambiance is understated Texas which is very comfortable and appealing. I highly recommend trying this out!

Great experience.This was our first time dining at Rio Brazos Grill. There were 4 of us on a Saturday and we arrived around 4:30 with a 5:00 pm reservation. The host was quite pleasant and was able to seat us right away.Our server, Tess, came by right away to greet us. She told us about the daily specials and we ordered pre-dinner cocktails. Zach was by with water and kept us topped off all evening.Our cocktails were great. My wife had a Cosmo and my friend and I each had the Grandpa's Old Fashions. They were excellent.We ordered the Mashed Potatoes and Green Onions Croquette appetizer topped with Smoked Salmon and shared that with our friends. It was very good.We placed our dinner orders and visited with our friends. Meanwhile, Zack was by many times to make sure water was refilled and just to check to see if we needed anything, as did Tess.A basket of warm rolls (like Parkerhouse rolls) came out. They were great. Our salads, soups and flatbread came out next. My wife and I share the Fall Salad. It was amazing. Our friends each shared a cup of the Tomato Soup and the Flatbread. We tried both and enjoyed them as well.Next, our entrees came out. My wife and I shared a meal. We had the Pork Chop dinner and we added mashed potatoes plus a side of the black pepper gravy. The Pork Chop was cooked medium rare as requested and was tasty. The Mashed Potatoes were tasty too. The gravy was good but I felt it could have been thicker. All in all, an amazing meal and service.Our friends had the Snapper and Strip Steak entrees. I tasted the Snapper and it was good. May have been a tad overcooked, yet still good. My friend told me his Strip Steak was tasty but the meat texture was a bit stringy. For a Strip Steak, this is what I would expect.We took desserts home and will have them later tonight.John, the GM delivered some of our food and we got to connect with him a bit. He was very pleasant and very appreciative of our patronage. We can't say enough about Tess. She was so pleasant, so helpful and so attentive. We were blessed to have her, Zack and the rest of the service team tonight.We'd recommend Rio Brazos Grill and look forward to our next visit.

Another fabulous dinner at Rio Brazos Grill. The red snapper was cooked to perfection. Others in our party had the tenderloin, chicken fried ribeye and pork chop. Everyone was extremely pleased with their meal. We'll be back. Well worth a visit.

The service was amazing, Mike is an awesome Bar Manager! Keep him!Very intimate and classy restaurant. The food is on the pricy end for the portions. Almost everything has a spiciness to it. I don't do well with spicy, that's all I focus on and miss the whole dish. That was the reason for the 1 star deduction. The owner(s) was so gracious for letting us sample some of the appetizers and have a drink at the Ribbon Cutting. I will go back and try an entree. Texas Cuisine is the theme here. Stay tuned for my next review, if not spicy they may get another star added.

Kind of want to keep this to myself, but it's impossible. Every single bite that was had at Rio Brazos Grill was beyond delicious. We tried it all & was blown away by each & every plate. We enjoyed the charming character and atmosphere ambiance. Will be back without a doubt.

Our first visit for Weatherford Restaurant Week. I thought this place sold grills and plants, but it's a magnificent restaurant instead. From service to drinks to entrees and desserts, everything was flawless. Our salads were delicious. The bread is amazing. Entrees were fantastic. Loved the dessert. Can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu. This could easily be our new favorite restaurant in town.

Sat at the bar, great food, even better service. The whole ambiance and experience was super great! Enjoyed will be back!
