Closer view of no stars. Just soupy veggies with more meat in a can of cat food. I think this is their Kung pao

food quality is great here, tasteful. communicative and accommodating and understanding. There's lot of food for a normal price.

Reasonable prices
This is what I saw from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. No customer service and texting the WHOLE time.
Jalapeno "chicken". Should have been called the jalapeno, carrot and onion stir fry with chicken flavor.
Great portion but not flavorful

The food was decent. However, some pieces of chicken had hard chewy muscles. The environment is gloomy and outdated. The employee I encountered took my order, money, and handed me my food. Yep, that's all folks.

Food was good. The issue is with the website. My office ordered food to be picked up with the menu on yelp. When I went to pick it up, I was told the pricing was old- now our 6.99 rice bowls cost 9.99. When I pointed out the cheaper price- I was told he would not honor the older price. Take- out orders beware!

Ive passed by this place a few times. I told myself, for whatever reason, I wanted to try the Rice Bowl Express. I'm glad, I did. It was very tasty! The service was quick, friendly and convenient. Let me give you the scoop.I believe, this used to be an old Taco Bell. The windows were dirty and foggy. It was difficult to see through. In fact, I thought they were close. The only way, I knew they were open was because, they had open light sign on. The parking lot was desolate too!The Employees we're ready to serve and helpful with the cost of menu items. It was a young Male and Female working the register. It seems like the young guy like the girl and she was annoyed with him. Their music was cranked up loud and they were talking about anything and everything!Mask is required. If you don't have one, they will give you one, that's really nice. It was a black one too! The dinning room was open but, it seemed like some of the chairs were on top of the table for distancing. One table had not been cleaned and the table, I sat at had a few crumbs. I just wiped it down. It was also very hot in there. They did not have all the ceiling fans on. I thought, I was going to have an anxiety attack in there. Lol.Also, there was a weird squeaky noise. I thought, there might be a mouse in there but, it must have been the ceiling fan. Eek!..My order was brought out to my table. The food was made fresh and was extremely hot! My Orange Chicken had lots of sweet sauce with minimal orange peel taste, yum. My Steamed Rice was fluffy, warm and shaped into a perfect ball. As I left, I told them, "Thank you and said, it was really good." She said, "Ok, See you next time." I grabbed a menu to share with you guys. So,if you want good food in a sketchy hood and sketchy restaurant, then this is the place for you!

I should've known. I was craving some good ass Chinese and came across this spot, but barely because they had noo lights outside in the front, along, the side, or around back...like at all, the menu at the speaker box didn't even have light. I tried take pictures but it looked like I took a picture in my pocket. While a good part of me thought it was bad business move for dinner, the other 50% of me thought "this is about to be soo good!" I took a risk, shot my shot and ordered. Brick. All bad. Barely any chicken in whatever I ordered (something "spicy", Kung pao I think). Rice was gummy and had no flavor, no egg, no bean sprouts, no veggies, no onion. Nathan. I miiiiight go back and try something else but I'd have to go in for samples because I definitely felt played.

I am breaking with my normal position of not rating a restaurant if I think it deserves less than 4 stars because this was just one of those days I feel like breaking from tradition. I am able to rate this with less than a second trip because this was delivery and we had five orders and the issues were consistent across every meal.I am a huge fan of Chinese food so I have eaten it from Hawaii to Germany, and all parts between. From California, to Virginia, as far north as Denver and Kansas, and Biloxi Mississippi. I love LoMein, fried rice, and all the various ways they prepare chicken.Today I was in the mood for Orange Chicken and fried rice as my side. Oh the container was awesome and looked like it could be used again it was so nice, but, the food within, not-so-nice.Even as a side order, fried rice must still be, fried. This was steamed rice that had soy sauce mixed in, a smidgen of egg, and that is it. What the what? No peas, no onions, no carrots, no bean sprouts, no nothing but steamed rice with a bit of soy sauce. Not even enough coy (yes coy, because it must have been acting shy today) sauce to impart flavor of soy sauce, just brownish. I was steamed as well. I want to give a shout out to all chickens around the world for the hard work they do giving their life for ours. Thank you for your service, you are the real hero's. That said, it is a shame how the life of this particular chicken was dishonored today. One day, clucking around the barnyard happily eating grain. What could be better. I will tell you, being moist and tender, covered in an orange sauce. Did that happen? Nope. I am hurt for the poor bird who gave all in the name of nourishment only to be left high and dry covered in a sauce, but not moist, not tender, not fitting his sacrifice. Oh the shame of it all. The orange chicken I am used too had onions or peppers mixed in, some orange peel or zest, and the chicken is battered, fried and then coated in sauce. This chicken was so tough, it could probably go ten rounds MMA. The sauce was decent, but more like a store bought bottled sauce, no veggies anywhere. They added an eggroll, why if it is going to be stale? Of the five meals, at least two of us had the same staleness with our eggrolls. It is an eggroll for cripes sake, how does one not get an egg roll right. I have had boxed frozen egg rolls come out better. If you are going to deliver food, then you really have to bring it because we cannot take it back, nor will we trust ordering again. It is a one shot deal. I am a heavy tipper for take out and I tipped 50%. I can't blame the driver for the food. But that pretty much sealed it for me ordering from them again. 5 meals, 5 misfires. So, will I give them a try in store? Heck yes. Anything could have happened that caused such a disaster, plus, I am a healthy American and it isn't like I am starving and this was my last opportunity to eat. I didn't get sick from the food. I did have sustenance to get me through the rest of my work day. Heck I wasn't the chicken. I could have been born on a farm, clucking around eating grain happily and today ended up in a luxurious take out box. I would have been an awesome chicken too. I would have demanded they cook me tender and not over cook me. I would have demanded they make their own orange sauce as well. No way I would tolerate being bathed in less. What kind of chicken do they think I am? I have rights. And this folks, is why you have to get out and vote in the midterms next year. I don't know how that effects chicken, or me as a chicken, but I am sure one of you out there can tie it in for me. (Did I really just bring politics into this non sense?) One final bother, the fortune cookie Stale. No snap when I tried to break it open. It was like opening an soggy thick envelope rather than a crunchy cookie. I actually eat them. But then I like fruitcake. How was it stale though? How? Did you store them in a shower? Did you store them in a hot place rather than cool? My fortune, had it been truthful, would have read... You will eat today for lunch, but it will disappoint you. Wah Wah. I will give them props on one great part of the meal. The beverage. No, they did not provide one, I did not order one, I bought water from the vending machine. It was super watery, had lots of Hydrogen, and some Oxygen in it as well. It was awesome water and washed that sadness that was my chicken down like good water does.If you made it down this far, give yourself a round of applause. I cannot give you back the time you gave me reading this, but I can give you some sage advice. Read only the first few lines of my reviews, then back out. I swear I wish I could stop myself from going down these rabbit holes, but I am powerless once I start.

this place over the last few years that I've been to it I was giving you less and less meat and the quality has declined significantly. They give you a good amount of vegetables but they give you away too many onions. And the past few orders of entrees that I've gotten with chicken have had less and less and less chicken each time. I think maybe it was because of what time I went it was about 45 minutes before they closed maybe they didn't want to open up a brand new package of chicken or something so they gave me all the little scraps of chicken that they had left which was not a lot at all. I don't know I'm really disappointed this place I used to recommend it but I'm actually going to unrecommend it now. It's the entrees that have very little meat and a boatload of onions as a filler. The only thing that I have gotten their that's consistently good for the most part is the teriyaki bowl. That is the only thing I can recommend from that place. Even then sometimes it sucks.
