We visited Reservoir during the Mavs vs. Celtics game, hoping for a good time and some decent bar food. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a sports bar--lively and full of energy. The food, however, left much to be desired. The chicken tenders had an oddly sweet batter coating that didn't work for us at all. The chips and guacamole were super salty and just mediocre. But honestly, it's bar food, so I wasn't expecting gourmet. On the bright side, the drinks were why we came, though the espresso martini turned out to be extremely too sweet for my taste. The server was attentive every now and then, checking in just enough to ensure we had what we needed without being overbearing.Overall, Reservoir is a decent spot for watching the game and grabbing a drink, but don't set your expectations high for the food.

Reservoir is an open air anchor restaurant in the Toyota Music Factory that has one of the best locations that overlooks the Texas Lottery Plaza. I finally had a chance to visit for brunch on a spring weekend, and my visit did not disappoint. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars Atmosphere - On nice weather days, nothing beats the atmosphere of Reservoir. The front of the restaurant is open to the Texas Lottery Plaza. If the weather's great, the sun and breeze flows in. If there is a band on the stage, you have the perfect seat. Either way, you win. 1 StarService - I stayed away from Reservoir due to the low Yelp ratings, but open further review, I noticed there were several 1 Star reviews due to service. Luckily for me, I did not have this issue. On our early Saturday visit, we sat ourselves, and a few minutes later had a nice and helpful server. No problems on this visit. 1 StarFood - I'm not sure what kind of food Reservoir specializes in, as their menu is diverse. We experienced their brunch menu but started with Cast Iron Hummus and Cheesy Garlic Bread. The hummus was great. It was served with pita bread cut in triangles. I spooned generous amounts of hummus onto the bread for a creamy bite. The Cheesy Garlic bread was like a cheese pizza. Not great but not bad either. For brunch, I called on Papa Smurf - three thick blueberry pancakes. A little too thick for my tastes, but it sure did make for a great photo. Looking back, the menu reminded me of a higher quality TGI Friday's menu: lots of variety for everyone, but nothing that stands out. 1 StarWill I Return? - Yes. I'll be back for the atmosphere. The food was good, not great, but nothing beats the location. On a pretty spring morning or a cool summer evening with a band on the stage, Reservoir is a great location to visit. 1 Star

I came to this restaurant with a friend to catch up and have a few cocktails. The cocktails are great here and my server was very attentive. After about 3 cocktails we decided to get some food. We ordered Shrimp Tacos and Shrimp Corndogs. They were decent. The batter on the corndogs could have been cooked a bit longer, because the batter on the inside was a little undercooked. The tacos were good just not as memorable. I will definitely go back because we enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere. That will give me a chance to find something else on the food menu to try. After 10pm on the weekends, the restaurant turns into a lounge/club.

Reservoir is a high-energy bar and a best bar in dallas for your late night outing, and when you want to chill out with your friends and love one. Reservoir opens till 2am and has great selection for both food and alcohol and tap beers.I have been with my friends and now we are going every weekend to enjoy our time. It's is located in Toyota Music Factory, and has great ambiance and music.Trust me at the weekend you will love this place, but don't forget to take your ID along with you, as they might want to check the same. Service is so great, all the servers and bartender are great to help and serve with smile.

Sunday 3ish Waitress was very busy but very good at her job. Atmosphere: louder than I would like. Table conversations have to be a little louder than normal for you to hear. Outlet in the booth we sat in. I needed to charge my phone so I was glad about that. Seats in booth need replacing. Busted up a little bit. Everything is open seating. Waited around 5 or so min for service. I got the sampler appetizer, Smorgsbord ?(sp). It comes with the queso and tortillas and 3 other choices. Queso- 3/5 wouldn't have to reorder Chips - 4/5 The angry pig in a blanket - 3.5/5 would possibly re order for the table Funky town? Wings- Asian Chile- it comes with maybe 4 wings? 3/5 Possible reorder The chicken strips (captain crunch breaded)- 3/5 wouldn't have to have them again. Sangria margarita - very cute. But not strong. I should've felt the margarita 1/2 finished, since I had nothing to eat previously, but did not Overall, it was a chill vibe. We sat inside and the wind came and gave a nice breeze. Would I return? Possibly, but no rush. And I would prob get the ultimate ham and cheese or the Cajun shrimp tacos. Wouldn't get the sampler again

Brisket Skillet was very good. It could've been a bit hotter, but the flavors are there.Service left a bit to be desired. Our waitress spilled some of the Alfredo sauce from another person in out party's order and it landed on my boots. I had to ask for something to clean it up with.

My colleagues and I came here after dinner so my review is solely on our drinks and not the food. The service here is great though, they were so attentive and gave us the front corner with the retractable garage window that looks into the center stage/lawn/play area. This place is the perfect location when they have outdoor concert in the summer! My colleagues ordered bunch of drinks and I only got cider so I can't really comment much. They also have a modern juke box where you put in $5 and you get ... I forgot how many credits but at least 6 songs I think. But their selections are not big though. Overall, good vibe and good service and great location!

Wow, it's been awhile since I've had a bad dining experience but here we are.The staff was unnecessarily rude and service was slow. It might not have been bad that the service was slow since it was busy, but the staff did nothing to try and make up for it. They acted like we were inconveniencing them.We were also serviced "mimosas" that came in a regular glass and tasted like just orange juice vs the champagne glasses we saw other people had. We asked to confirm we got the right thing and instead we were served a smart alec response. We weren't even rude about it, just checking since it tasted like straight up OJ.The food was meh once we finally got it. Choose any of the other eateries in this area. This one isn't worth it.

First of all let me say brunch fruit was the BOMB! I mean that not what you expect at a sports bar but when you order a meal, get the fruit side. It is fresh and delish! All of our food was good. Slightly above average for sport bars. The service was good but they were definitely under staffed for a big game day event. They could have sold us more drinks had they been able to wait on us more quickly.
