Red Star Cafe

Sooooo yummmy!! Today's special (Tuesday) is the fried pork chop and it was HOT and DELICIOUS and HUGE!! I needed a to-go box! Our 9 year old got the classic cafe burger and it was also huge and delicious and those FRIES... We also got the Texas Two Step which is slices of jalapeño and onions deep fried... sooo good! If you're going through, stop by!! Our waitress has been on point and is HOPPING!

Got the burrito added onions and mushrooms wow son law got burger cheese and jalapeños was on point fries was amazing seasoned staff was a plus

Looking for someone delicious old fashioned buttermilk pancakes that are fluffy and flavorful? The Red Star Cafe fits the bill. Great service coupled with a comprehensive menu of everything "breakfast" is served up at this small cafe. I look forward to eating a lunch there the next time I'm in the area.

Oh my. Such a wonderful treat in the middle of a long road trip. Food is excellent and the portions are plentiful. Stephanie our server is so sweet and we enjoyed the break. My only gripe is I wish the lighting was a little dimmer to make for a more intimate ambiance

I ordered a burrito, it was wet and soggy. The waitress didnt happy to be there, i just felt unwelcomed like i was a bother.

Great pit stop n my drive home. The portion sizes are great. Good service. Clean space. It is a great place that is connected to a convenience store. I had a slice of strawberry cake. The slice was HUGE!

My family & I were traveling on I20 going through Eastland. Saw this cafe & my son, daughter in law & I decided to stop & eat. We've never been here before. The Ambiance was nice, the service staff was friendly. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries, my other family members gave their orders. My son ordered cheese sticks for a appetizer. The cheese inside wasn't melted. He ordered a cheese burger & chips with extra mustard. The waitress then proceeds to tell me that they're out of french fries. So all I had was the bacon cheese burger with no side, yet I was still charged for the fries too. The food is not that good. I will not go back. I do not recommend this place to eat.

Great food great service! Stop here every time we come to the area. My favorites are the BLT, the club sandwich, the fries, and the chicken fried steak. Don't miss this treat!
