The food was amazing! we tried a variety of appetizers, ramen and a pork rice bowl. Must gets would be the beef tataki and the pork chasu bowl - soo good!Staff was super friendly and the restaurant was really cute + cozy. Perfect for dinner or they have specials for $10 ramen on lunch!

Just ok.Service was good. Food came out quick. We started with the spicy tuna on crispy rice. It was edible but was missing the right flavors that typically accompany this dish. I also got the garlic pork shio ramen. The pork and eggs were good but the broth, again, missed the mark somehow.

Delicious!! Worth the wait. The umami--yum!! Hit the spot in a chilly windy evening. Got the chicken ramen. So tasty! All the ingredients and egg were...chefs kiss!

This is a charming little restaurant with ramen that matches the taste and quality of the original store in Lewisville. While the service was a bit slow--there was only one server, and it seemed like just one cook in the kitchen--the quality of the food more than made up for the wait. I'm thrilled to have such a great ramen spot close to home! I highly recommend the spicy garlic pork shoyu ramen, but if spice isn't your thing, the non-spicy version is just as delicious.

We enjoyed the Spicy Pork Shio ramen, it was flavorful. All the appetizers were a bit salty in our opinion. Service was quick for lunchtime. Ambiance was lovely with wall paintings and blossoms, which added to the dining experience.

We were not expecting to be wowed by ramen here-- hearing that Akira Imamura had sold off his franchise recently, we did not have high expectations. When we came in for the first time though, we were welcomed by a wonderful smell and great service. The noodles were firm and very thin, just the way that Ichiran in Japan or Shinsengumi in CA do it. This was the best ramen we have had in DFW so far, and it's not an exaggeration to say that the legacy Chef Akira left here is still shining and well. On a cold dreary day, a bowl of ramen hits the spot in a way no other does! Drop by to support this awesome place.

We visited last Friday 6/14 during their soft opening! No wait as we were only one of three tables that night. Place is new, spotless and adorable inside. The menu is not lengthy, so it's not hard to decide. We tried the pork shoyu broth, garlic pork shoyu broth and spicy garlic pork shoyu. Broth was good and creamy but presentation was lacking... the egg and charshui were hidden beneath all of the bean sprouts, bamboo and green onions. Hostess was very nice and fast. I asked for lemons for my water, but they didn't have any because it was their soft opening.

My husband and I were both sadly disappointed by this location, even though the Castle Hills location had been our favorite authentic ramen place in DFW that we had recommended to many friends. The Frisco location seemed extremely Americanized. The ramen was overpriced with very little toppings or meat included compared to other places ...it was almost all noodles only! We tried the shio tonkotsu ramen, shoyu tonkotsu ramen, gyoza, and chicken karaage, and not a single dish was good. Service was also poor; we had to ask for water refills. Don't bother coming to the Frisco location, or you might be disappointed.

Went here with a party of 6 people and ordered their spicy garlic shouyu pork ramen. I liked it a lot! Their broth was flavorful and meat was tender. We also ordered two plates of Chicken Karage. The first time was yummy! However, the second plate that came out was a little too salty. The waitress was attentive, but the wait time for the food was a little long as I saw there was only one waitress and one chef working. The interior was well decorated and clean. Would go back! :)
