Friendly folks and good food, they made us feel well at home. Fried pork chops were tasty

Renelle the owner really cares about her guests. She was amazing. My mom needed a Christmas turkey very last minute and reached out remembering how good her dinner was here on her last visit. Renelle came in on Christmas morning to make it happen. Can't thank her enough and the turkey is beyond perfect. The seasoning and quality of meat is very good.

Food wasn't very tasty. The catfish seasoning was not the greatest. The fish is fried too soft, not really crispy. Definitely not what I expected. I'll give them another try at a later date.

Do not even look at this "restaurant" or you will turn into a pillar of salt, which is apparently what they use for their sausage. (WARNING to those with high blood pressure or anyone with taste buds)The green beans NEEDED salt and even more, a current expiration date. Even the pork chop is mad at what the cook did to him. This piggy said, "I died only to end on a plate with some canned gravy." As far as the collard greens go, they needed to add water for flavor! Just give me a bowl a grass! R&R should stand for Ratchet & Run!

Stopped in while traveling to the Fort Worth area...the ribs were phenomenal with homemade bbq sauce...mixed veggie plate was also a hit...didn't get a pic of the ribs, cabbage, and yams but the veggie plate was A1! Definitely recommend!

Gotta tell ya.. my husband and I randomly saw this place and sad well let's just go in and smell it (literally smell and feel the atmosphere). We ended up with three dinners (the brisket, ribs and catfish w/ Mac N cheese, yams, and greens) all were phenomenal but the catfish was exceptional.!! and they have koolaidDefinitely would recommend 9/10

Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! The food is yummy comfort food that will take you back to your childhood. I had chicken, Mac n cheese and green beans all hot and ready just like mamma lovingly fixed and the price was very reasonable too. Go check them out!

The BEST fried catfish in Fort Worth!!! It is my go to.I just tried the new mac 'n cheese and it is the TRUTH!

Please for the love of god do not order ribs, potato salad, or mac from this place. Ribs were cooked fine but tasted like pure smoke, even the sauce couldn't save it. Potato salad was way too gooey and tasted like relish. The mac was where the ball dropped the hardest, first bite was pure disappointment, tasted like straight noodles no flavor. Had to add salt to the whole plate and even then I still had to throw it out :(

My first time trying them was today . I had a Catfish plate with 3 sides .. the catfish was not crispy 3/10 , Mac & cheese 2/10 and greens 0/10 not fully cooked and salty . The best thing on the plate were the candied yams .
