For a random bar in Grapevine, this place is awesome. I won't lie, when you walk up you may not believe other reviews...believe baby! Server was great, bartender was great

Local (dive style) bar which also serves food. Good looking menu choices for a bar, prices look in line with other places like this. Bar like atmosphere with several TVs. Look clean and well maintained. Outside patio seating also available.Went looking for a new shrimp place for lunch (as our favor, The Catch, in Lewisville closed). Earlier, tried the Whiskey Cake, with very disappointing results (see earlier review)!Saw a Yelp review for this place (which is walking distance from our house). Had low expectations. Wow, my mistake, it was excellent!!! Some of the best Fried ShrimpI've ever had!!! So good, no pictures as we dug in immediately. 6 Jumbo butterflied Shrimp, yummy hush puppies and steak-fries served w/cocktail sauce for $12.99. Great value!!! Note: wasn't listed on the menu?!?!Service was 5 star from our server, Omery! Their service and value is 10X better than where we had lunch (mentioned earlier).We will absolutely be back, sorry we didn't realize this great place was so close to us!!! A must try!!!

We love having a bar and grill in biking distance to the house and this place has a nice patio and standard fun bar interior. I would love to give the place 5 stars because atmosphere is spot on and there are plenty of food options to accommodate different eating styles. Including healthy options - protein, veggie style plates as well as delicious bar food - wings, tacos, etc. The reason for the 1-star off is the service. It has been hit or miss the few times I've been there but keep in mind, I'm not a drinker so I'm mostly trying to get food while I'm there and try to sit outside as often as weather will allow. The service at the Bar itself may be very different and not a huge deal to most people who hang there. Either way love this location, great parking, yummy food!

Pretty solid little spot. Good food and good variety of options, nice staff, covered patio option, and clean inside.I had the barbacoa tacos and they were pretty good. Certainly not the best but pretty tasty - and not top greasy. I opted for a side of onion rings and those were solid. My son got the grilled shrimp and I was impressed at how awesome they looked. He liked them for sure. Other folks at the table got fried chicken and it looked decent.Our server was super sweet and spread thin. I think she did a great job covering the territory.A handful of arcade games, a small pool table, and enough TVs round out the vibe.

Picked up a fresh cheeseburger and fries. One of the best burgers in a long time. Friendly and prompt service.

I could cry, this place has food that taste like home. I'm so lucky to live so close to a place that has Italian beefs. If you have not had one and can't make a trip to Chicago, get one here. I believe the co owner Jose came out and served us our food and asked where I was from. (Was able to guess my heritage too LOLOL). Love it here. Will be back. Meet a lot of cute doodles too

Amazing onion rings! Best in N. Texas. Highly recommend R&J's anytime you are in Grapevine. Excellent service and great locals.

This place has grown on me since giving it a review on opening day. It is a good local dive and the beer on tap is super cold. I mean "ice floating on your beer that comes from the frosted glass" cold. That will be a really nice treat come summer. The service is friendly and the clientele is varied. I haven't eaten here yet but have heard they do a decent burger. It seems that whatever kinks they had when opening were ironed out. Here's to hoping they stick around.

Owner and staff are always friendly, food is amazing! This is the best place to hang out in Grapevine.

I have come in multiple times and have always enjoyed the atmosphere as a Chicagoan myself. However, the server named Kayla was extremely rude and patronizing during my entire visit. She was sarcastic towards me and yelled at me while all I wanted was to listen to the SNF game versus a soccer game. I am in the service industry and understand the pressure that we hold, however the way she treated me was unwarranted and was appalling. I will never come back to this establishment again. The bartender forced closed us out because "I was having a miserable time" I am appalled and so upset that I was treated so poorly.
