Pocket Sandwich Theatre

We had been fans of Pocket Sandwich Theater at their old location, and hadn't had the chance to check them out at their new location yet. So, when a friend of ours set up an event for us to go to a Melodrama we jumped on the excuse to make the drive out there. The set up is very similar to how the set up was at the old location, just feels a little more spread out for them. Though I will admit the tables right up front you may feel a little tight. Food was pretty decent portions, on the nachos I would have done better getting the half order but someone in our group finished the rest of them for me. They give your group a comped thing of popcorn for every two people; but it is only .50 cents as of writing to get another thing of popcorn to be able to toss at your friends, the actors, or get into a popcorn war with another table. The actors did an amazing job as always at the show that we went too. My friend is already planning a return trip, and I was talking to my husband that we need to remind our kids about Pocket Sandwich and bring them up here again.

We very much enjoyed our visit to Pocket Sandwich theater. This was our first visit to their new location. If it is your first visit to pocket Sandwich I recommend coming for one of their popcorn throwing melodramas. The casting is always on point and they are great at interacting with the popcorn throwing as it makes sense for staying in character. The food is decent enough, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby to go to if you don't see anything you would like on their menu.

We had a lot of fun here! It is definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon if you are relaxed and want to have fun. The food was decent enough. The desserts were yummy! The play was fun and goofy. We saw the four weddings and an Elvis and were entertained by the play and the actors. There were a coupon of questionable lines though about "transvestites" and about gay people that probably should be updated next time it is performed. Our waiter Gage was fabulous. He was the hardest working person there!

I miss this place! Finally get a chance to see a a show again. It's wonderful to see that Pocket Sandwich Theatre is thriving in Carrollton at their new location and is receiving high recommendations. The consistent quality of their shows speaks volumes about their commitment to entertainment. It a spot worth checking out for a memorable experience!Service is always efficient. You can actually have a meal here before a show if you don't want to wait in any of the surrounding restaurants. Just arrive early enough. Food service ends 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. They also have a decent list of libations for a comparable price. Come out to Carrolton and check out a show here with the family (depends on the show) or with a with date. It will surely won't disappoint.

I had no expectations going into see the play "I Hate Hamlet". We bought 8 tickets and I took my family and in-laws there to have a little family night. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! the ambience feels great, the waiters are funny & sweet, & the actors are awesome too! The show was captivating but it also had some comedy to it that kept everyone laughing. The lighting, sound effects, and props were great too. I honestly was blown away at it all for being a smaller venue, it truly didn't feel that way! We will be coming back to see another play as a whole family again!! My entire family from ages 16-60s had a wonderful night & everyone left raving about the place.

What a fun, fun, fun night!! We arrived to watch the performance of Jekyll and Hyde. Our server was on fire and set the stage for an entertaining evening. He was efficient, funny, and friendly. The performers were fantastic! But the most fun was the popcorn. Never before has corn been so hilarious. For fifty cents a tray, it was a hoot to toss popcorn everywhere!! I do hope we can come to another melodrama to participate and enjoy the delightful Pocket Sandwich Theater.

This was a lot of fun. The food was pretty good. I had a baked potato, my wife had a sandwich. The food was plentiful. Over all it was a great experience. The show was super funny. My only criticism would be that the chairs are a little uncomfortable.Honestly though we were having such a good time we didn't hardly notice.Still a five star experience. I'll be back and I'll tell all my friends to make the trip.

The food was so so good! Very generous portions and reasonably priced. We had so much fun watching and interacting with the play Sweeney Todd that our faces hurt from laughter. Everyone there was so funny and so helpful. We'll definitely go back. A lot.

We went to our first show this afternoon and it was great! The servers were friendly and helpful and the show itself was so well done. We had nachos and the cheesecake for dessert - tasty! We will definitely return for other productions.

On their current production, the melodrama "Captain Blood"...What do you call being a Pirate in a Previous Life?ReincAarrrrggghhhNation...This is an experience to experience. Audience participation is the best!The popcorn must Fly!Good finger foods and beer and wine selection.But you go for the entertainment which is hysterical!!!
