Great little family owned Tex-Mex restaurant. Service is fast and friendly. You never have to wait to be seated Which is a double bonus for us. Good food and reasonable prices!

We are from El Paso and have had a difficult time finding a restaurant that serves good Mexican food. Well we found it. Plato Loco in Red Oak serves delicious Mexican food - all their menu items! The service is just as good. We love Maria and her sister and daughter who work there too. I'm sure the gentleman that works there is related as well but we haven't had a chance to talk with him much. We like to support our local community and even during the pandemic closures we went through the drive through window and the food was a blessing - we were having our Mexican food withdrawals back then. The place may be aged but it is very clean and so are their bathrooms.

Soooo goodit's a pretty quiet restaurant that's not ever really busy. The servers are very sweet and patient with you. I recommend the tortilla soup. The bowl is pretty big but it's nice and warm. It's packed with lots of flavors

Came here for the special on margaritas. Got what we expected on a quite weekday night. Margaritas were low in cost but not to bad. I was hoping there was a bar here but not. Salsa tastes too much like ketchup. They need to check in with Amya's in Red Oak on how to make salsa . Server was nice and plenty of chips which is nice when having margaritas. I want a place that has a good atmosphere to it with some good drinks...I will keep looking.

5.25 for a taco? It was dead during lunch time and the welcome wasn't even warm in fact she looked shocked someone came in. I couldn't tell you what the taste was because I told her nicely we would pass and left.

Normally it's great, however, tonight I got my regular bean and cheese nachos and noticed about halfway through that the meat underneath everything was raw. The rest of the night was fun-filled sickness. There's no way they didn't know raw meat was being served.

I have never left a review for anyone before but I couldn't help myself this time I was so disappointed..I ordered from this place through Uber eats and this place is just nasty and over priced! Their chicken is just boiled and unseasoned. Their stuffed jalapeños are like the frozen ones you buy in the grocery store. The sopapillas were almost completely flat. The avocado was brown. The nachos literally looked like they shredded some cheese on top and stuck it in the microwave. And to top everything off my food was cold. I know that wasn't Uber eats fault because I paid the extra money for priority delivery and the restaurant is only about ten minutes away. The app told me that the restaurant asked for extra time so I don't understand how my food showed up like it was cooked over an hour ago. I wasted $75 at this place and didn't eat any of it (my boyfriend ate the nachos because he was super hungry but didn't even end up finishing them) please don't make the same mistake I did.

Service is great. Food is not. Chips & salsa is delicious but the menu needs some work & better descriptions of what is being served. Food is not flavorful or appetizing, it's very much Tex-Mex but not described as that so be careful with what you pick.

I just placed an order for their tamale plate with a side order of guacamole and chips and self a P is for dessert and this was by far the best Mexican food I have had and I don't know win. Thumbs up to you guys. Great food!
