My local association had a conference here and I was pleasantly surprised on this well managed event center. Plenty of space for the trade show and breakout sessions. Ample parking. I was not available for the luncheon but snacked on some appetizers. Chicken satay kabobs and stuffed mushrooms were great. My only complaint was the seating in the breakout session. I think this seat was also used as a torture device.

Mike and I went to the North Texas Model Railroad Show today. Neither of us are train freaks, but I wanted to see all the layouts these people spend HOURS on. There were SO many vendors, selling new and used train engines, cars, parts, and scenery for your setup. It was interesting to talk with these people who spend so much time on this hobby. Some of the layouts were absolutely amazing, as you can see in the pictures. It was a fun morning, that you would have enjoyed also!

I was here for a convention and the place was packed! Overflow parking was off in the adjoining fields! The parking lots were being used for parking and for an outdoor flea market. People had come from many states. The convention hall had been turned into shops and stores and was packed shoulder to shoulder. Conference rooms were in use for classrooms and lectures. All of that sounds boring, but what made this convention different is this was the regional HAM Radio convention (HAM-COM) and the varieties of antennas, radios and accessories not only excite the radio/electronic nerds (like me) but also those that have never seen some of these interesting looking items before. (Some HAM antennas do look like giant egg beaters or potato mashers.) There were displays set up where you could talk to other sides of the planet, nation and state. There were vendors selling "ancient" radio gear from the early days of radios. There were radios that even use the internet. The conference rooms had licensing classes under way, lectures on new technologies and discussions on older ones.Lots of stuff plus the facilities do a great job of supporting this myriad of radio frequency related gear and people. There is a snack bar and restrooms that were always busy. The facility was well maintained and clean. Great event center for a very fun event.

I attended a smallish conference here (around 600 people, I believe) recently. Parking was not a problem and the facility seemed to maintain a decent temperature (which is apparently hard for conference centers to do---they're usually freezing). The small grill was closed but we did experience food service through conference provided breakfasts and lunches. Breakfast fare was pretty outstanding with many options. Lunches were sacked but still good. The vegetarian options were very yummy! Bathrooms were spotless (and there were plenty of them). Maintenance and custodial crews were keeping trashcans emptied.Good conference facility overall!

We were here for a concert yesterday. It was quiet big and really happening place. The concert room was really big although the organisers need to work on their event planning. Room was was spacious and clean and the same goes for entire event center. But they haven't permitted to bring our own water which was quiet surprising and to our surprise they are selling small water bottles for $3.

We visited the Plano Event Center for the Divine Cosign event. The event center was clean. There was ample amounts of parking, plenty of restrooms, and the staff were helpful!

Great building, in fact it is really pretty and well laid out! This place is well located in Plano, Texas, just off of highway 75, north / north east of Dallas. The grounds are well taken care of with lots of fantastic lawn!We recently had the "2017 Texas Fly Fishing & Brew Festival" back in March of this year. This place could really make some money and be booked and be filled a great deal.**The low marks on this review are for: 1) The way this property is managed and taken care of from the end users point of view.2) The food at their grill needs to be upgraded and more thought taken on what they serve.3) The option for a group or customer that rents the place from you to have the option to bring in some food trucks.4) Having more than one cash register in different areas and not holding up the renters customers held up.5) Have better pricing on your products. The renter has made a purchase of renting the place and your teams services, yet the prices seemed just a little.6) You need to have management at the event to help the renter with different issues, maybe several managers to help with many of these different issues that may come up.7) You need to get together with the TABC and figure out a better way for events to have enough beer or adult beverages. So your renters does not have to under order on the adult beverages. This is one major issue that you really need to work on. It just seems like the right hand does not talk to the left hand.8) Having frozen pizza that is re-heated will not work.9) Having proper condiments with the different foods that the grill will serve.10) Not to have an issue of running out of food /drinks and maybe setting a second food/drink tables. The positive notes:A) The building was really clean, from the grounds, restrooms, hallways and classrooms.B) The place is in a great location.C) The parking is very nice and easy access for the handicap. D) Lots of well placed trash cans. This place, the staff, management, and owner have the chance to really make this place top notch! I look forward to coming back and seeing the improvements!

Attended the Holistic Festival of Life over the weekend. The venue overall is really nice. It was really cold inside the building so it was cold when we dis yoga. The doors were locked on the side of the building I parked on so you had to walk all the way around to get in. The restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly I will be back again.

Good space for a smaller convention. My main complaint is that there is not acoustic treatment in the main hall. Lots of echo and it's very distracting. What the heck just put some acoustic panels on the walls people!
