Pinto Urban Thai Diner

I ordered today for delivery & most of the meal was inedible. The Shrimp Bang Bang had a taste of rancid oil and the shrimp was fried to dust.The Tom Kha soup was decent, but would not order again.The Shrimp Pad Thai had PLASTIC WRAP in it. Some of the shrimp had shell still on it. When I called the restaurant, I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was not there. I asked his name, no response. I told him about the meal and he said I had to get Grub Hub to refund me. I said I would pay for the soup as that is all I could eat. He kept saying to get Grub Hub to pay. He never got the point that Grub Hub only delivered this, they weren't the ones that make this garbage!PS, I never had a GrubHub account, but do now & they refunded the charges. They get 5 stars, the rating on the food stands.

Pinto has a plethora of vegan options, ranging from refried tofu to vegan sea bass. There is also extreme spice levels if you are feeling adventurous.The service has always been quick and friendly. The cost does not always fit the portion sizes, but the quality of the food is not compromised at all. The indoor ambiance is nice and qaint, but there is limited indoor seating available. Probably best to place an order to-go.

Very good. My wife had the 3 heat green curry and I had the 5 heat fried rice. I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu and trying the hotter options. Lol, I gotta tell you, I'm scared about the 8 heat.

Really cute, small restaurant for quick eats. There's only a few seats so it's mostly for takeout or small groups. The food comes out pretty quickly and in to-go containers. I thought the flavor was pretty intense. There's only bottled water there, no fountain drinks. Portion size looks all right. Great location for students and around the UTD area.

Vegans and Vegetarians rejoice! Pinto Thai was made for us! There are so many choices! I usually get the fresh rolls as an appetizer and then follow up with some red curry or spicy Thai basil. Watch out! When you give them the spice level, they listen. Don't feel you need to amp it up. This is my go to takeout Thai spot.

I ordered a bottle of sauce with our dinner and it was so distinct that I had to look it up on Google. I appreciate having things so authentic I don't know what they are.Will definitely order again to try new things.

Went for lunch the other day and will be back. There's seating both in and outside. I liked that there's a kiosk on the outside where you could also order food.The Thai Style Chicken Basil was great. It came with jasmine rice and I had my egg on top scrambled. Being my first time, I had the level 2 spice on the side. I used it all and enjoyed it. May go for level 3 next time. The chicken is grounded which is what I prefer and it had red bell pepper and onion in it.The Thai Iced Coffee with milk was okay. It was very sweet. I haven't had Thai coffee lately to be able to compare, but was not completely sold on the flavor.

It was my first time we tried this restaurant and we liked it. I ordered a red curry fried rice with spring rolls and tofu which was superb and my wife ordered Pad Thai noodles with tofu and chicken Both me and my wife loved the food. The food was delicious, with just the right amount of spiciness. The food was incredibly delicious. My suggestion would be they could be generous in portion and charge few dollars more. We will be coming back.

I ordered Tom yum at the spiciest level (I think 10?) and it was so good!!!! Perfect amount of heat for me and it builds progressively. The spiciness does not make it any less flavorful; it's tangy and sour and delicious!I also got some vegan curry puffs, very good, and tofu rolls, very good. My partner had chicken fried rice and it was very fishy, which was weird and unappealing. But that was the only fault with the order!Short review as my lips are still burning from my soup and I must recover. Whew!!!

Ordered the Drunken Noodle w/tempura battered chicken. The thinly pounded chicken was deep fried, tough and greasy with no tempura batter. Tomatoes were raw. The shrimp Drunken Noodle was just Ok.Also, ordered sweet sticky rice with mangos. The rice was gritty like it was not cooked all the way through, not silky as sticky rice should be. They get 2 stars cause the salad rolls w/shrimp in rice paper were good but you only get 1.5 pieces. There are NO refunds or exchanges or I'd have gotten one. Don't recommend this place.
