Pappy Jacks Restaurant

Very casual laid back restaurant with a live band playing at night. Lots of TVs to watch different sports. We had the pappy jack sampler with cheese curds, Pork rinds and fried mushrooms. We loved how everything was hot and fresh. Wife had the medium rare steak with mashed potatoes and onion rings. Steak was heavily seasoned with garlic which was nice. I ordered the Gunslinger with tots which was delicious. We finished it all off with a margarita and Shiner bock. All of the flavors for the food were really good and cooked to customer request. Server was really nice and very attentive. Will visit again in the future.

Good food and good drinks At this sports bar on the Square in Springtown. At times, the service may be slow, so don't be in a hurry. Always felt the staff was friendly. Never had to return food or ask for something different.

Would not recommend! Our food came out cold, don't order onion rings as a side unless you want to pay $4 extra even though the menu doesn't say it, and the mashed potatoes are garlic even though the menu doesn't say it!

Only reason its not a one star is the environment. Bar and music, folk just having a good time and singing. The reason its is just 2 stars is the food. the wings i got the first time was inedible bit into it soggy and chewy bone in lucky i got fried pickles to actually have something to eat. 2nd time boneless wings was exactly same but my gf got a burger so we can try it burger was dry a little too much bun.

First visit since it was Fireside Grill and before that Shinola's.Have to say I was disappointed with the food and drinks. Ordered grilled chicken salad, the "grilled" chicken was tough and chewy, croutons were soggy and the ranch dressing was watery. Ordered sweet tea and could not drink it due to the chlorination. Ordered a soft drink which was from a fountain drink machine and there was zero carbonation. My reason for my one star was due to the servers and how well the place has been upgraded/cleaned up.Another problem we observed was we were left waiting at the door for someone to seat us. Actually my wife had to track someone down.

We went there for the first time with some of our family members. I normally take more pictures, but I didn't this time. I took a picture of the remainder of my salad because both my husband and I were SO DISAPPOINTED with our salads, and I thought I would show what I had left. We went with grandchildren and the reason they got a two is because the children's portions were a good size and they seemed to like them. However, I asked my granddaughter if I could have one of her french fries because they looked so good and when I bit into it, it was cold. I will say that it took a long time for us to get our food and the restaurant wasn't crowded, but being our first time, we really weren't sure what to expect. My granddaughter is young and so to her, cold french fries didn't mean much, but to me, as an adult who knows what to expect, I took half of a bite and knew that it wasn't right. My husband ordered the salad and he would give it a one 1. He knows how to cook and actually prepares most of our meals at home, but we were out of town and so we went there and were unhappily surprised. First, we were surprised at the size of the salad with the cost involved. My husband said he felt the salad was small for the price, and it had very little meat with and maybe half an egg. There were no tomatoes, nor onions, and maybe seven croutons. I think it was $16 and for that price we expected more. He definitely felt the price did not reflect the product. I ordered the "Grilled Chicken Salad" and did get more grilled chicken than he did meat on his salad. I wasn't crazy about the spice they put on it, but I could live with that. I kept noticing that my lettuce didn't taste too yummy and I was having a difficult time finding good pieces of it in there to enjoy. I asked someone that was close by us if I could see the menu when they were through with it and reread it again. The description said they were putting "Spring Mix" in the one I ordered. However, it seemed as if I got the root-end of Romaine Lettuce and not Spring Mix. You could actually take the pieces in my bowl and snap them in half with your hands. It was NOT ENJOYABLE! It also took a long time for us to get our meals and there were not that many people there. We had two children's plates and two salads and it should've not taken the time that it did for us to receive them. I was told they had homemade ranch, but it did not taste like the good homemade ranch I've had at other restaurants.The waitress saw me ask another customer if I could see their menu when they were through and came to our table at that time. I showed her where it said "Spring Mix" in the description for my salad and then showed her what I actually got. She offered us a 10% discount off our meal and said that was all she could do. I believe she took 10% off of our salads. We had our grandchildren with us and so we stayed to let them finish their meals. However, we were VERY DISSATISFIED with our meals and visit there! My husband does not ever want to go there again, nor do I.

Food was good. Service didn't seem to be fully present or aware. Menu was so appealing it was quite challenging to decide on which meal to choose. When the waitress listed the daily specials the decision was made - burger baskets and they didn't disappoint. My teenager was a bit upset by the decor since it was strongly influenced by a rival high school sports but this could also be interpreted as hometown pride!

We got our food before we got our drinks (tea that is). Waitress only brought out partial order and once we got the rest the food was cold. Terrible attitude by the waitress (EM). We will definitely not be back. We had high hopes for this place but 2/2 times had been terrible!

Ate here for our first time since they moved to this location. The food and service were really good. Our servers name was Kurkey, she was friendly and attentive.
