Papawady Asian Market

Asian Market exceeded my expectations! They have an incredible selection of products, from pantry staples to specialty items you don't find elsewhere. The fresh fruit and vegetables were top-notch, vibrant, and clearly well-stocked.Even with a festival happening, the store was impressively clean and organized. Despite the crowds, checkout was quick and efficient.I'll definitely be returning--this is a gem for anyone looking for quality and variety!

I've been on the look out for a local Asian market rather than having to drive 30-40 minutes to the market I typically go to. Found this one just on google. It felt like it was located in one of those places where you had to know already know it was there. I have lived in the area for over a year and have driven by it probably once or twice a week, but literally had no idea it was there. There's definitely pros and cons to this place. The aisles are very small to walk down, but they are packed full of product. Plus everything is very reasonably priced, even better than the bigger market I usually go to. With it being a smaller store, there isn't as big of a variety or varying of brands so if I was looking for a brand in particular there's a possibility it may not be there if.For me, this place is more of a "go to when I need one or two ingredients", not "I need to stock up my fridge for the week".

On my initial visit, there was no one at the counter when I walked in. I browsed the shelves to see what all they had while a lady came out from the back. There was a nice selection of groceries from produce, canned goods, noodles, and frozen seafood. The nice lady rang me up and was very friendly and personable. I left thinking I could see myself coming here often. The second visit, I stopped in after work to pick up a few things. Again, no one at the counter. I went about getting what I needed. By the time I headed back to the counter, a gentleman had appeared there. I asked him about an expiration date on something. His answer was not reassuring and against my better judgment, I bought it anyway. And I threw it away when I brought it home and cut into it. This past weekend I came in for one thing and once again, nobody at the counter. Okay, this is how it's going to be. I get the item and went back to the counter. This time I was not met by anyone. I waited a couple of minutes before I yelled out a "hellooo?" towards the back. Nothing. I waited a couple more minutes even after that. I hate being ignored. I left. I love supporting mom and pop shops because they tend to care more about the success of their business. This place, not so much. Very disappointed in the customer service here and have no desire to come back.

I just come to this store today. Not too bad :). They are clean, and so far I found what I want in this store. As asian lady, it's hard to find asian store near Keller/north fort worth area. There's one, but would love to get another option to have around here beside the one in basswood area. It's good to have something not far away too to drive rather go to middle of haltom city or go to Arlington-Carrollton-Plano area. I like the owner ( she is said hello, and asking if I need any help). I will give this store 8 out of 10. Needs more variation certain items, but totally understand when they just open 2 months only, and they needed more request from you if you need something to buy. The price is not too bad either. I found cheaper lil bit compare the one next to the other asian market in fort worth. I would recommended this place to all Asian fellas that don't want to driving to Arlington, or to all of you who wants to try Asian cuisines, just give it a try!! I will come again for sure. To me when the owner is friendly, means they care about their costumer.

I enjoyed rummaging through the store, and picking up items that I've never tried. The cashier was pleasant. The store is small, but has enough items for this beginner to feel intrigued.

This store is great! I came here looking for some different kinds of noodles and unique items I can't find at the regular grocery store. I was happy I came in. It's a cute little market with a lot of products. They had a bunch of noddles, which is exactly what I was looking for. They had grains, sauces, produce, spices, tea, honey, cookies, and much more. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. The owners son was very welcoming and had great recommendations. I will come back here soon. I recommend checking this market out!

Very friendly staff! They opened right after winter storm viola hit and I was able to get a few snacks for me and my family.

Small store but jam packed with stuff. Lots and lots of ramen options. Fresh herbs like perilla, mint, thai basil, etc is available which is nice if you don't want to drive too far to a bigger asian market. Friendly staff.

While my parents are visiting us in town, I brought them here to buy some Asian food and they loved it. Couldn't stopping adding things to the basket and we walked out with many bags of food. Totally worth the 40min drive!!!
