Painting with a Twist

I LOVE painting with a twist! I've worked here many years and this family we've created will give you the painting night you deserve to treat yourself to!

This is a fun experience for everyone! I've invited friends, colleagues, my adult children and even had a "meet the parents" night of my son's fiancé. The artist/instructors are funny, highly skilled and friendly! This is a unique experience you won't forget!

Love coming here! Been coming for about a year and it's so fun. I never thought I would enjoy painting or even have anything I wanted to hang on my wall and I'm now constantly checking their schedule for fun paintings! I go by myself or with friends and it's just as much fun going by myself, the instructors are great. Sierra is for sure one of my favorites instructors!

My mom and I took a painting class here and we had the best time! We went to an afternoon class a few days after Christmas, so it was just us and two other people. Everything you need for painting is set up when you arrive. They set out your paints, but you can always grab other colors if you want to customize your painting. When we booked our paintings, they had a few add-ons that you can choose from. My mom choose to paint on wood plank board instead of canvas, and I got the glitter add-on, which were both fun adds to our paintings. The instructors are the best part of Painting with a Twist. Our instructor was Emily, and she made the experience fun and was always complimenting our paintings. She also had a good pace and was very clear with her instructions. I would definitely recommend Painting with a Twist, and hopefully they will be doing more fun paintings next time I visit DFW.

I love painting with a twist! This is my 2nd time doing it, 1st time at this location. My mom, sister, and I came here for my sisters birthday. The painting I chose which is significant to my sister which was a panda bear and cherry blossom trees. We're the 1st group to paint this and since this is a new location they offer lots of new paintings!Saturday at 11am. It's BYO and you can bring wine, beer, wine coolers but 11am is still early, so I didn't bring a drink this time around. You walk in, get checked in, grab an apron, find your seat, your name should be on a white board. Canvas, paint, and brushes all set up. If you worry you cannot paint don't worry! It's step by step, very easy, the instructor will help you if needed. You get extra time at the end if you need to touch up on a certain area. It's very calming and relaxing, some people tend to stress out about their painting and that's when some wine would come in handy. This location has lots of cute painting where there is a hole in the middle, which you stick your face in, and take a picture! They have Elsa, Ariel, even a couples one of Jasmine and Allidan! As a gift to my gift to my sister for her birthday they let her choose a painting from a trunk to keep! Very sweet! I can't wait to come back to PWAT.

So why wouldn't you like a place that encourages creativity, self-expression, missteps and community?Totally left-brained and not a creative bone in my body, but the 2 classes I attended (including the paint your own pet) I left feeling good about my painting.I wonder how many classes it takes to qualify as hooked? :)

This place is so much fun! The artists who run the events are fun, funny and helpful! I'm addicted! :).

Loved! My 5 year old daughter had an amazing time painting Bambi! Super fun staff that makes your time fun and exciting!

Visiting from out of state and Amber was our artist. She was very helpful but also let us do our own thing! We had so much fun! Definitely recommend!!!!

This place is such a fun experience for my kid. The one part that made me hate my experience was the fact that they made my kid cry. Yeah they did. The artist sierra yelled at my that she was too much and that she was getting too dirty. I couldn't believe that and how my daughter came home and her self confidence was completely destroyed. I am never going there again at least until I know that they have changed that service,.
