This was so much fun! It's BOYB, and you can also bring snacks. They are all so super supportive and sweet, really helpful and encouraging even though I suck. Lol. I had the absolute most fun. It's a cute venue, very well organized. They have wine openers and glasses for whatever you bring plus tonight they had free champagne for Valentines Day. I would highly recommend this for any celebratory event. 74$ for two people for the small board each and I wouldn't take it back. Cute date night idea. Happy Valentines Day!

I've done PWAT all over DFW. It's always been a great experience and as someone with not even one creative bone in my body, it's nice to kick back with a drink, have fun with friends, and take home a cool painting at the end of the night. Not here. For one, there were more than 60 SIXTY! of us crammed into a relatively small room. This would be unbearable in summer, but it was pretty awful in March. Way too many humans breathing. The easels were crammed together and it was only a matter of time before someone spilled the water meant to clean the brushes in. There was hardly any room to move your arms to do the designated activity, and it was just plain uncomfortable. I understand that the franchise owners want to make a profit, but this is overkill. Also, the instructor on the evening we went did two things that were really frustrating. She started twenty minutes late and took long, frequent breaks. That would have been find except for the other part: she didn't really explain what she was doing until after she did it on her own canvas. That's not how teachers teach. Finally, the single most frustrating part of the evening is something that I'm not sure PWAT can control, but they can certainly discourage it. A couple of people showed up completely wasted already. One person in particular actually left before the evening was over because they threw up all over themselves. When someone comes in to check in before you start and they are obviously intoxicated, and this person was, have a policy for that. Don't allow one person to ruin everyone else's evening. This one person also spilled their brush water all over the person sitting across from them, and then proceeded to vomit all over their PWAT apron. That's just gross.

You know, I took many a painting class in college, but I'm really not a fan of actually painting. It's messy and stressful and messy and messy. However, I always painted with oils which take like 10,000 years to dry.... Anyway, I wasn't sure I'd enjoy Painting With A Twist because of my feelings towards painting and because I've never been a fan of follow-the-leader or paint-by-number types of classes. But I came here for one of my BFF's bachelorette parties, and I seriously had a really fun time. When you arrive, all the canvases, paints, brushes, and everything you'll need are laid out for you. The painting is already picked out, so you know what you're going to end up with. Luckily for me, my buddy chose a lovely fall scene with great oranges and golds, and a dark, sprawling tree running across the canvas. This sort of composition definitely left room for a bit of creativity and freedom. If you choose something like a still life, it'll be a much more paint-by-numbers sort of experience where you just fill in the lines. I appreciated having a totally blank canvas to fill up in my own way.The instructor stands on a platform at the front of the room and gives very specific instructions on how to do the painting. Our teacher was nice, funny, positive, and so laid back. She painted as she explained, and then you can follow suit. If you run out of a certain color paint, need help in any way, or have any questions, the instructor or the assistant will lend you a hand. It's a very low-stress environment. No judgement! Part of the reason Painting With A Twist is so low-stress.... you can drink! BYOB and sip on whatever you please during the two hour class. We had wine, sangria, and jello-shots..... so anything is allowed as long as no one is acting dangerously! Super fun time. About $35 for a seat in a class; look up their schedule online to join a class, or set up your own party and choose your own painting :)

Fun for any group or couple- it was a blastorama!!Can bring own booze n snacks It was my birthday surprise and daughter, mother, sisters, and nieces were all in attendance.Warning everybody is going home with similar picture But directions interpreted by different peeps also interesting.Laughed, learned, enjoyed every minute!hostess/instructor was funny and helpful and rang a bell and ordered all to 'drink' - she was super fun.in the end, your inner artist(which i would have sworn did not exist in me) is released and there was a lot of pride for a job well done in that room.I would go again in a heartbeat!

Booked a private party for my sisters birthday and absolutely do not regret it! I am not very artistic but the instructor took the time to walk us through step by step. The staff are energetic, patient, and fun! Would definitely recommend this venue(:
