If you're like me, when going to a sports bar, you're really not thinking about food beyond wings, burgers or some appetizers, but Wild Pitch, with locations in Frisco and Fort Worth, is dishing up a serious curve ball to what you normally see on a sports bar menu!Of course, you'll find Burgers, Wings and Pizza, and can get Fried Pickles or Mozzarella Sticks, but the choices go FAR BEYOND that, and the flavors will have you wondering why you've always settled for anything else. Here is a review of some of the items I've sampled: Texas Tomato Soup (GF) - While I'm not usually a tomato soup person, this must be tried to appreciated! It's simple, creamy and satisfying with a depth of flavor that has you going back for more. It's jalapeno and bell pepper infused, and garnished with a couple thin slices of jalapeno. It's served with a few tortilla chips or you can have it with a Caesar or side salad, but I just want to fill a thermos with it!Crab Rangoon - Five deep fried crab & cream cheese filled dumplings that are served with a side of sweet Thai chili sauce for dipping. These are noticeably thicker than most Rangoon I've had, which really makes for a great, crunchy accompaniment to a cold beer, and the Thai chili sauce is an old favorite that is great on wings.Mushroom Swiss Burger - Full disclosure, I don't usually order burgers at sports bars, primarily because they're usually disappointing, but this burger could change my mind. Regardless of the toppings you select, these are thick, meaty burgers, cooked to your chosen doneness, and packed with flavor. The outside of the burger has a char flavor that can only be achieved with a very hot grill. It seals in the flavor while the center remains tender. The Ryan Express - Like it's namesake Hall of Fame pitcher, this pizza brings the heat! Alfredo sauce, cheddar & mozzarella, diced chicken, pickled jalapenos and blackening spice makes this a one-of-a-kind pizza. The alfredo sauce politely gets out of the way as the blackening spice comes in high & tight on your taste buds. The crust is thin and chicken diced small to again let the fastball of the spice be the main attraction. While hot, it's not overwhelming, so don't be afraid to dig in - but maybe have your favorite cold beverage in the on deck circle (too much baseball jargon?) Honey Sriracha Grilled Shrimp (GF) - Eight shrimp served on 2 skewers and served with your choice of two sides. These are plump, delicious shrimp that draw sweetness from the honey, spicy from sriracha and savory from the grill. I've rarely had shrimp this good. These must be waved over the grill, because they were beautifully cooked. Shrimp cooks so fast, that they're often over-cooked and tough, but these were outstanding.Signature Fried Rice - These are cooked to order - and it shows - with garlic butter, onion, soy sauce, egg and choice of Chicken, Shrimp, Beef, Veggie or (my selection) Korean BBQ Pork Belly!! This is truly one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. The rice is just right, the egg is light and fluffy (obviously not made ahead of time) and garnished with some fresh scallion, but the star is the pork belly. Savory, sweet and rich in flavor. I could eat this several times a week. This is just a sampling of the great food that is served up at Wild Pitch. If you're a traditionalist, the wings are really good, and they offer many tasty sandwiches, but they also have a large selection of sushi and sashimi. There really is something for everyone, and everything is delicious. You will not be disappointed by this food.

Like most of my recent reviews here I am in a work truck picking up supplies. This time in the DWF area with three stops. I had just left Haslet headed south through Ft. Worth and BAM truck broke down on 35W.I was able to nurse the truck off the freeway after removing a suspension spring that fell out from the brake line. Went super slow down the frontage road looking for something to eat and a place to wait for a tow. Saw a Denny's and a Taco Cabana across the street. Nah, on the Jack in the Box too. Right behind there was Ojos Locos which I knew about but never tried. Parked the truck and headed in to a bit of a shock. A buddy had told me about the food but failed to tell me this was basically the Mexican Hooters. Ordered tea at the bar and immediately had to run outside to take a call. LOUD DJ blaring Tejano music. I was told I had 30 minutes till the tow truck arrived. Headed back in snagging a menu from the abandoned hostess stand as the bartenders hadn't provided one. Ordered the combo nachos once I was engaged again. Nachos were solid fare. I always wish for more guac and sour cream but it held out only leaving one last chip not doctored up. Paid the tab and prepared to be towed to Richardson! Yeah, that didn't happen.I had to sit in the parking lot another 3 hours watching countless homeless crazies and drug deals. Got blocked in by two beer trucks; relocated the truck several times. Not located in a good neighborhood!

The food was pretty good. I went for lunch and had the half pollo based off the bartender recommendation. The wings looked pretty good and so did the burger. Beer was cold and scenery wasn't bad. Plenty of TVs so you won't miss a game. Faucet was broken in the bathroom. Why? Now the outside... broken glass in the parking lot. A LOT of broken glass. Which tells me there are some night time issues. But if you like great food and cold beer. Definitely a lunch stop. But after the sunsets I'd be heading somewhere else. (At this location)

If you like half naked women while you eat this place is for you. Not for me, seems a little unsanitary & the smell of ass isn't appetizing for me. But if that's your thing and your lady doesn't mind then by all means enjoy!!

This is a chill sports bar in Dallas where they have great views plenty of TVs and good food as well. You can order pretty much anything you normally would at a Mexican restaurant. They also have a great happy hour that lasts from 2-7 and have half off margaritas. This one also has a Latin club attached to it that's open fri-sun

I came to this place twice and would come back for drinks but definitely not for food. The first time I came here I had wings which were okay but the sauce was a little on the sour side. Fries were good. The second time I ordered tacos al pastor and chips and guac. Tacos were okay, not great. The guac was pretty brown and just overall not good. Drinks were good both times though! I loved the diablita. It's a mango drink with tajin. I also got the paleta shot made into a drink which was also very good. Service was very quick and we got seated immediately both times on busy nights.

There was no hostess when we walked in. The manager had to tell someone to seat us.Our waitress bought us the wrong drinks. The food took FOREVER to come out. My husband ordered wings and I order their pastor tacos...his plate was out wayyyyy before I got my tacos. I think they went to go kill the cow... but over all the tacos with rice & beans were delicious. It was worth the wait.

Food was terrible and the service wasn't any better! The music was so loud our party of eight couldn't even talk to each other. To top it off to order a beer I was told they needed a credit card on file. So I give the server my card and tell her I'm going to pay with cash. I pay with cash when I leave and leave a nice tip with it as well. A week later my card is charged for the whole bill. Guess I left a better tip than expected! That one is on me. Lesson learned!

Extremely disappointed with my order today. I've ordered from them once before and it was awesome, which is why this was so disappointing. Ordered food from them through Uber eats, my wings and my soda were missing, the only items in the bag was the veggie sticks, ranch, and fries. Talked to my Uber driver, they said I needed to contact the restaurant. I called the restaurant, I was put on hold for almost 20 minutes, with no answer. Had to hang up and call back just for them to tell me there's nothing they could do since it was a third-party, not offering any compensation, even though it was clearly their mistake.
