Ohana Hawaiian BBQ & Poke

This place is great, super fast for lunch on the go. It's so hard to find fast food that is healthy and good for a reasonable price. Ohana knocks it out of the park!

I would like to rate this place higher stars because the staff was very nice. However, I really did not enjoy the food and felt like I wasted money to throw it in the trash. I got the chicken katsu with curry and the curry sauce was cold, the chicken was VERY pink...I thought it was undercooked and myself and my young son ate a few bites before just throwing the whole plate away. I think I got the wrong thing because my friend got the loco moco plate and ate the whole thing. She also got takoyaki and that was good as well.Overall I don't think I would eat here again. Its small inside which seemed fine...but the fountain soda machine looked very old and kind of rusty and the water tasted like tap water. Its almost $3 for a hawaiian juice and there was some sort of paper sticker stuck to my can where you would have put your mouth, so we didn't drink it. That coupled with the undercooked chicken and cold sauce was not pleasant. :(

I've been craving macaroni salad for like a week. I've had H.B. and decided something that wasn't franchise. My poke bowl was 5 stars. I also got the Hawaiian chicken and it came with macaroni salad, rice and cabbage. I would give my meal 3 stars. The chicken was very tender. The macaroni salad was a HUGE disappointment. It was actually the entire reason I went for Hawaiian BBQ. The cashier was awesome. She was super patient with me because I was very indecisive about what I wanted in my poke bowl. The poke bowl definitely made up for my disappointment in the macaroni.

So the score is only for service and presentation. I never been to Hawaii, but this food was nothing what I had in mind. It was edible, but dint care to finish. Place is small and not very inviting to eat there. Clean but normal Asian smells from kitchen. I won't come back just cause the flavors is not what I'm used to. If this is authentic flavors, please try and give it better scores.

Honestly, it pains me to give a 1 star to anyone. But, it just wasn't worth more than 1 star. I walk in and the girl is sitting there eating as I'm trying to order my meal. Kids are screaming so clearly they had their kids there which is fine, but again, this is a place of business. I was unsure of what to order, but when I looked at, the Poké bowl, the options look disgusting. There was no air conditioning going on in there and they had fans blowing, and so the pokey tuna or salmon did not look fresh. It was like a chipotle line where she scoops it out and it was not fresh at all.so, I got the teriyaki bowl ended up being disgusting. No air conditioning, kids running around, food fresh, the girl is eating while she's working, I just was not impressed.

I love their food I always order the barbecue beef plate and it's absolutely delicious and always fresh I highly recommend this place

As someone whose family is born and raised in Hawaií,This place is a NO for me and the family. Whenever we want Hawaiían food, we typically go to L&L in Frisco but we were visiting my aunt in the hospital, in Fort Worth, who was craving some BBQ beef ribs, so we decided to give this place a try. Put it to you this way, we would've done better driving to frisco and spending that money on gas than spending $50 here. The place was busy but don't let that fool you. We waited over 30 minutes for blah food. We ordered (2) mixed bbq plates , (1) bbq rib plate and a side of Kahlua pork. My aunt took one bite of the beef rib and spit it out due to its chewiness. We thought "maybe her taste buds have changed from eating hospital food" WRONG!!All of the food was BLAND. The ribs were extra chewy. The chicken thin and bland. The vegetables had no flavor whatsoever. The ONLY thing that made the food slightly edible was the sauce. I have the worst after taste in my mouth and my stomach began hurting soon after eating a small portion of my meal. I'm soooo disappointed in this food. I wish we could've taken it back for a refund and I RARELY feel that way. If you're looking for REAL DEAL Hawaiían food, this is not the place to go.

The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. Plenty of room to sit and different verity of sodas. The food is good and made fresh definitely recommend stopping by.

This was my second time patronizing this restaurant. They do not disappoint. I had the BBQ plate, spam/chicken musabi and green tea cream cheese cake.

Happened by this restaurant today after a hair appointment. We ordered almost everything on the menu. Service was fast and friendly. I had the 2 protein poke bowl which was delicious and we shared the chicken katsu with curry and the rice tho plain was surprisingly pretty good. The restaurant was neat and clean even the restroom!!
