No 1 BBQ

I love spicy food. This place is one of my favorites. The snacks or the dishes are amazing with beer if you drink Beer. The best skewers in town. The variety you can try.

Legit Chinese Northeast bbq style. Spicy chicken bones was good too. Highly recommended guys. Will be back.

Food is great. Authentic northeastern Chinese food. Must have is: Guobao Rou, Lengmian, Kai jiucai. Service is not typical American hospitality. But as a real northeastern girl, I knew they are real, they sounds "rude" but warm heart inside. Recommended.东北人可以去，家乡的味道。

The best BBQ in town. We drove all the way from Arkansas just to eat this BBQ. Authentic and the boss was super nice!! Highly recommend!

Average taste.Vegetables are yummy but meat are salty and dry. Service is good. Would not come again because of its expensive price.

I came here at 940pm because I had called to confirm they're open til 11pm. Upon arrival, they said they're only open for VIP. Why let us know they're open til 11 and not bother to let us know they're only seating select guests?? How does one get on a VIP list?? Not ever coming here again.

If you're planning to visit this place, READ THIS. Overal, horrible experience, I would give zero if it is an option. There are a number of obervations/experiences I want to point out, and I believe your money deserve a better business/place, hear me out. 1) RUDE AND IMPATIENT WAITERWe were seated immediately when stepped in, which is a good thing. We were given a few minutes to decide what to eat, but found it difficult to wrap up the order in a short time period as there are many items and there are four of us. The waiter came back a few minutes later, he get impatient and rude when he found out we hadn't decided what we wanted.2) OVERPRICED MENU ITEMS$30 - $40 per cover. I honestly don't worry about how much I need pay as long as I am satisfied with the food and service. Considering all of those unprofessional behaviors/services, and some food were served cold, I do believe this business doesn't deserve this much.3) ASKING CUSTOMERS TO LEAVE BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF TABLESThis is the last mistake they want to make, but it seems that they don't care. We were asked to leave by the owner because they ran out of tables, customers at another table had to go through this nonsense as well. TO THE OWNER: Rush hour, I know. But I do believe we deserve to stay a bit longer as our order was big enough to let me chat with a old friend we hadn't seen each other for many years. We stayed about 1 hour and 20 minutes with a $160+ order. Ran out of tables? not my fault. 4) REVERSED-RACISMI'm following up the last comment: It seemed that the owner only asked the ASIAN customers to leave so that they can have tables for the new customers. The table where a number of Caucasion customers seated were not bothered at all and still enjoying their food and conversation. 5) NO SERVICE AT ALLThe waiter never refilled our water, they seemed to be very busy at all time. Even if I asked for it twice, my cup was refilled only once.6) THE MANDATORY TIPWith all this absurdity, we still decided to tip 10 dollars even though we did not receive any service and also got expelled for no legit reasons. Guess what happened? The waiter chased us down and asked for more tip, quote "our restaurant requires a minimum tip that is 15 percent of the order". I usually tip a decent amount, more than 30%. With this bad experience, I do believe 10 dollars is a mercy and they should be grateful. Is it even legal to require a tip? I don't think so. If it is mandatory service fee, then you should have it clearly stated on the menu. I'll file a report to the Department of Health and Human Services. 7) WE PAID FOR SOMETHING WE DIDN'T ORDERI went through the receipt and just found out they charged me for a "Fanta", we didn't even order a beverage at all. I'm not going back to argue over 1 dollar 75 but I believe this is a theft. For everyone, if you have to go there, always double check the receipt before making any payment. P.S. I plan to consult with my lawyer and contact my bank, and possibly file a report the police department for a credit car fraudulent charge. To summerize, they have a brand name "no 1 bbq" but I don't find how it is better than its competitors. I would never re-visit, and I encourage you to avoid that place, for the sake fo you mental health and finance. There are many great places you can choose and many hard-working people deserve your business. Hope my feedback/review can make your day better. Thanks.

I gave the place another try tonight because the older man who helps cooks and busses the tables was always kind to me.But the waitress with the orange hair seems overworked or something else is going on. I stopped going for a long time because of her, she's nice to mostly Chinese patrons or the white customers, but she thinks I don't understand her...she's really rude and I am going to call it. Racist.She thinks customers can't understand.

The food was really bad. So expensive and on top of that the service was so rude and inconsiderate. The woman who served us was mean. Stay away from this dirty place.

It's a matter of expectations. If you are expecting shish-kebabs It is not. But if you are expecting authentic northern chinese bbq this IS the place. This style food is basically bar food, meant to be enjoyed with friends talking and plenty of beer. In China the street vendors come out at 10pm, chairs are set up with lights and the good times begin. The BBQ grill is a long skinny gutter with charcoal just the right width for the skewers to sit above the heat. The fresh skewer starts at one end and rolls to the other end well done. Spicy if you like but totaally full of flavor.
