NaKayshion's Wedding and Special Event Facility

Fantastic facility for private events. The bright and airy interior provides an elegant blank canvas for your own decor. And the "backyard" area has a beautiful lawn and small pond for outdoor ceremonies. I've never hosted an event here but I've heard that the facility is pretty affordable. Should definitely be on your list for event spaces in Ellis County/S. Dallas County.

Do not recommend at all. My sister visited this location and was denied and basically told she wasn't going to be offering her business to my sister because my sisters wedding is a same sex marriage. Discrimination at its finest!!! Find a nicer venue with better management and stuff. Lady was rude and really didn't even care!!! If my back was that wide i probably be mad too tho!

I attended a vow renewal ceremony here on a cold night in December, so I didn't get to see the grounds. The facility appeared to be of nice size. We were in a small room with appetizers before they allowed us to be seated for dinner in the main room. The appetizer room was too small for the crowd, and the small bites were just okay. The main room or ball room was very spacious and nicely decorated. The dinner was okay. The drink that was served with the food was delicious. The sound system was perfect the entire evening, and there were no glitches during the speeches, the ceremony, or the party afterwards. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were constantly clearing plates and refilling empty glasses. This appeared to be a nice venue for events, wish I could've seen the outside areas.

If you need a place for your wedding this is the place! My husband and I decided on this place due to our schedules and wanting a place that covers the most stuff. The only things we had to cover were the photography, cake, and flowers. We found a photography place, had his aunt who owns a cake business do us some amazing cakes for us, and we did the flowers ourselves. We thought it would be too hot to have our wedding outside in June but the day was absolutely amazing. They made sure everything ran smoothly where I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. The food was delicious and the DJ played songs that all ages could enjoy. I don't know how many compliments I received from people who attended my wedding about how much they enjoyed every aspect. I would highly recommend Nakayshions for any event. Trust me you won't be disappointment.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Where do I begin? I can see why this places has been voted several times on The Knot. Com as one of the best venues. NaKayshions is located on a beautiful and clean property. There is a gorgeous large pond in the center. The service we received was impeccable. They catered to our EVERY need and truly just wanted us to be happy with our experience there... (and we definitely were). The food that was served was delicious. The guest enjoyed it & so did I! The DJ was awesome, he really kept the crowd moving!! The owners are super friendly and highly courteous! Honestly,the whole entire staff was just Simply AMAZING!! I don't think we could have chosen a better place to host my friends wedding (I was her wedding coordinator).NaKayshions is highly recommended for any event! You won't be let down!

"Forever Starts Now" was placed on the banner outside of the venue. I was amazed how everything turned out. The food was delicious, the DJ was on point, and the atmosphere was very romantic. The people Mr. & Mrs. Jackson and Mrs. Shirley were so sweet and inviting. They welcomed us every time we came to the venue. The venue was decorated so beautifully on our special day. It was all worth it. A wedding day we will never forget.

I fell in love with this place, me and my mom were passing by one day and ran into this place by accident and had to stop.The first thing that caught my eye was the cute lil church and the wagon they have on display there.when we actaully parked and got off it was beautiful and my Ideal place to get married they have an area with benches set up and a lil area by the water to say your vows and yes a nice size pond with ducks and swans.Now all i need is to find a husband so I can rent this place and have my ideal wedding :)

Great location, check your contract; the fees will add up. The Best package does not get you the best of everything. There will still be additional costs. Did not get the bogo signage in the best package nor the gift

RUN! The venue itself is beautiful but the staff and organization was the worst. The service was extremely poor. They unilaterally changed the contract terms but we had to go with it because it was it was a month before my wedding before we were finally able to get in touch with them. They're only open 3 days per week so getting in touch with them by phone or in person was extremely difficult. Louise created my contract. She was never available. We attempted to speak with her a million times, each time she was "unavailable." We were advised that they changed their terms/packages 1 day before we signed our contract yet we weren't advised of that and in fact our contract is for "prior terms" the Louise confirmed we would receive. We paid for the BEST package which included everything: food, DJ, décor etc. Later we were contacted and told that we still had to pay for food even though we paid extra by purchasing the best package and food was supposed to be included. We ended up having to pay the caterer separately. We didn't get food or décor settled until 2 WEEKS before the wedding. The best package was also supposed to include the BEST décor. It too was subpar. I wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone unless you like to be stressed during wedding planning. I thought I was minimizing my stress by going with this venue since EVERYTHING was supposed to be included in the package we purchased. I was wrong. NayKayshion's is an elegant professionally run even facility. The staff meets all needs concerning your special event. The are Christian and caring owners and wants nothing but the very best for your special day!The facility is BEAUTIFUL!
