My Canh Chinese Restaurant

My family has been coming here for years and loves My Canh because they have a huge variety of Chinese/Vietnamese dishes and any food critics in my family can find at least one dish they enjoy! My comfort go-to dish here is the combination stir-fry flat noodles. We always have to order at least 1 of these and this dish is gone in minutes! The best way to experience this restaurant IMO is to do family-style. Order a few dishes to share and try a little bit of everything!

This is a decent Asian restaurant in Dallas where they serve a variety of authentic Asian dishes. It's especially great for college kids and low income families since most foods are quite affordable, and good for what it is. Service isn't great, so you'll have to know what you want to order. Calamari is great, wonton soup is good, but the wonton itself isn't good and pretty mushy. Tom yum soup has a concoction of frozen seafood, and instant Tom yum powder, so I wouldn't recommend this, but everything else is great!

This is a perfect go-to for late night Vietnamese and Chinese food! On the outside it looks "meh" and on the inside it looks kinda "meh" but when you need real food, this is the place! Fresh seafood, great food in general, and if you can't decide what you want, go ahead, close your eyes and point at something. The waitstaff is top notch, the cooks have their act together, this place is great! Great for extended families and everybody else. I have a great time every time I come here, no matter how crowded it is.

Best Chinese gourmet restaurant in town over two decades running. Try their clam soup for hang overs. If you like fish, order the steam whole flounder or whatever whole fish is available. Fried Oysters and also Clams in black bean sauce is great.. you have to make sure you eat everything with a little bit of steamed rice to enjoy the true taste.. also their fried rice on point.. not too greasy and not shady on the ingredients. This place use to be open late til 2am in the mornings (until COVID happened) And is a hot spot for the locals..They call me SHINES

In A Nutshell:-My Canh is a local Chinese-Vietnamese restaurant that is known to locals as a late night spot.-They close at 3am, so all you bar hoppers/clubbers should rejoice for a place to eat afterwards.-I ordered their Kung Pao Chicken combo, which comes w/ a big bowl of jasmine rice & a small bowl of soup.-The kung pao chicken was awesome.-It wasn't salty at all, chicken was tender & plenty of veggies, plus you get a big serving, enough to share.Overall, My Canh has some very friendly staff working there helping me out. A nice place for late night eats.

Food is authentic and full of flavors. The feeling is that this is a neighborhood staple restaurant for weekly dining. The place could definitely use a big hug, but the great food, food prices, and family style serving sizes make it all worth it. The staff was all friendly and accommodating for us. It was a nice touch that they served the soup to us and packaged our leftovers at the table.We drive about 25 minutes to go here, and it is worth the trip.

Very rude, and submitted an order way before close, drove to the restaurant to pick it up 15 min before close, while several people were still inside dining, and both doors were locked, i called them and they said they weren't making orders anymore and they were not making mine. i had submitted it almost an hour prior. will not be returning im not even from here i was visiting for a concert yall stink

I've been coming here and getting the same thing for weeks.I drove 30 minutes today to come get my food and the ride ass chef said apparently it's to big of a hassle to add some broccoli to my meal which I do the same thing every single week and that if I want it on the side I have to pay 11 dollars for a side of broccoli. Horrible service.

The hostess with glass on is a very mean lady, even tho we put a decent tip, she still seems angry or something. Idk what's wrong with her. And the waitress old lady is fine and always so occupied so it's super hard for us to cause her attention to ask for something. The foods at there made us diarrhea at that night, and we swear we would never go there again. Plus the ambiance is so loud and messed up. It's better to order to go If you wanna try their foods.
