Been here 2 times now and it's been good both times. Ambiance is new and clean. Service was great and they passed my water test with flying colors. Food was good. Lots of variety of ramen and other options on the menu. + Is it the best ramen... No. But it's still good. Egg could be more soft boiled.+ Gyoza were pretty good= Shishito peppers were ok

I visited on a Saturday evening with a friend. They were busy but not packed and we were able to grab a seat quickly. We started with wine and the steamed spicy gyoza. The gyoza were steamed perfectly and had a spicy chile oil on top and were delicious with the spice not overly hot, perfect for sharing. We got a couple of sushi rolls (the mango tuna and the shaggy dog) and the steak hibachi to share. The sushi was fresh and very good. The shaggy dog was a little hard to eat but man was it delish, stuffed with shrimp, avocado, and cream cheese with crab on the outside. The Hibachi was great as well. Pretty typical steak and fried rice but done well. Our server was friendly and everything came out timed perfectly. There are a lot sushi options in the area and this one is great for the quality you get for the price and not having a crazy wait on the weekends!

Pretty good here. It's a go to spot for my friend and I. I have to say pretty decent for ramen in the area. Service is very good. Our server worked hard and checked up on us. Atmosphere is pretty cool, and you can watch the cooks cook. We ordered some appetizers; like spicy edamame, pork buns, shrimp tempura, sushi. We also order the hot tea, and of course ramen. Check it out! Till then, let's eat!

We tried out Muteki for lunch and it was solid. They have a variety of things in their menu including some more authentic dishes but the food is definitely catered towards the West Frisco crowd. The shrimp tempura had an odd breading and sauce. The katsu curry teishoku was pretty good though curry was on the gloopier side and had a lot of black specks. The spring roll tasted like a frozen pre-made one. Gyudon was solid as well though a little dry. The Totoro at the door is a nice touch though.

Short:- expensive but decent, has a good variety that caters to larger parties with different preferences- atmosphere is elegant/modern side of casual, nice but not intimidating or formal. - ramen is tasty- garlic oil add on is worth it- chashu don is nice if you're really craving rice but ask for mayo on the side so you can control the quantity (presumably also ask for garlic chips on the side as well if you have IBS)Full:We were set for 88 Baobao next door but the long wait brought us here. Usually if a place offers too many things I'm put off by it - if the restaurant offers several types ramen and even sushi, will it be any good?As we were seated we scanned the restaurant and noticed that it wasn't very busy, in stark contrast to the bao place. Skeptical but famished, we ordered a spicy tonkotsu ramen and a chashu donburi. I asked for garlic oil with my don and they gave me on the side - which turned out to be the move. See how massive that bowl is? For $1!!! So off the bat, we were starting to get our hopes up. And the ramen, to our delight, was actually quite decent. It's a little expensive and definitely not my favorite in DFW but I would put it on par with Wabi House. It definitely hits the craving for Frisco/Little Elm residents who don't want to make the great pilgrimage to downtown Dallas. The chashu don looked good - I mean do you see that heap of garlic?! YES PLEASE! but if I were to come back and get it again it would have to be with mayo on the side. That heap of mayo is enough to kill a small child and it definitely almost got me. I foolishly mixed the whole bowl without trying to scrape the mayo out first and the only thing that didn't keep my last few labored bites from resulting in a reverse migration of my lunch was the green onions, those boys were clocking some serious overtime.Overall, the restaurant was pretty decent - I'd definitely consider if I were craving Japanese food and in the area. However I won't go very far out of my way for it.

Great addition to Eldorado!! I'm heading to Tokyo next week and figured I'd get a head start on some ramen. I found this place so we went today. We arrived about 6pm, and it was not too busy but definitely started to get filled with patrons by the time we left. We ordered the fried calamari, bao, and fried dumplings to start. Then my daughter got the lobster roll, I got a spicy ramen, and my son got the kids Ramen, which was plenty of food for him. It was all good - no complaints. Service was great as well... very attentive. The inside of the restaurant was nice with booths and tables. There were also tvs around, too. Definitely will be back!

I came here today for the black garlic ramen. The char siu was some of the best i have had in texas, and they were very generous with their serving of black garlic oil! Unfortunately the broth lacked depth and flavor, it really needed salt too.I jazzed up the broth with some spicy chili powder and soy sauce, it tasted much better after that! The katsu curry was okay, the curry again lacked flavor and salt. The chicken katsu was a bit on the thin side , however it was crispy and yummy. My husband had shrimp hibachi and said it was good. The spicy edamame appetizer was really good!We came during happy hour which is from 330pm-530pm, note we went today which is a sunday and they still offered it! They also had 20% off all appetizers for hh!I would definitely come back to try other things if i am in the area and wanting japanese food. They have a good variety and the price was not very expensive for being right in the middle of frisco.

Same like previous Yelpers, we wanted to eat at 88 Bao Bao but the wait time scared us a bit. The only choice was go next door to Muteki or Fast & Furious. Obviously we weren't going to F&F so Muteki it was.We loved the Totoro that you see right when you walk in.Restaurant decor is nice, a good place for a casual date.To my surprise, their ramen was pretty good, one of the top ramen places in Frisco. Much better than that famous ramen shop in Austin. Two pieces of pork chasu that was pretty tender and didn't smell porky. Black garlic ramen was pretty good, although I prefer it stronger. The egg yolk was done beautifully, with the yolk half cooked with really nice golden color. California roll was meh. Miso ramen was pretty good.Service was top notch.

in this restaurant there is complete dysentery, all the food is done without gloves, the waiter is very disrespectful to the customers, I don't remember his name, but he has blond hair and I also have an intolerance to spicy food, we asked for no hot sauce, but he just didn't pay attention to it, and so all the glasses were dirty and the pillars, that is, the table was not washed after previous clients like that and also I was talking on an important call and guy continued to stand and look at me andalso after this dinner I went to the hospital because my stomach hurt very badly guys, this restaurant is not worth it to anyone, the waiter is rude, the food is terrible.
