the female server with the glasses (not the kind / sweet looking one) decided it would be a good idea to insult me while i was on a date by praising my date and subsequently saying "oh you're on a date with someone who looks like him?" it wasn't said in a particularly funny or playful way either, and she doubled down to then say to my date "let me know if you need someone else to pay for this meal."really weird to insult me just as we sat down when you have no familiarity with me. i've got thick skin, but this put a bad taste in my mouth from minute 1 of being here. the only reason i still tipped 20% is because the other server was lovely and was the main one taking care of us.

Food - 4Service - 3Value - 3We came here a few weeks ago on a Friday night and the place was fairly empty. We actually had a bit of a challenge finding enough items on the menu that we wanted to try. Our overall dining experience was forgetable and our waiter seemed not quite altogether there.

The server was prompt at getting our order and checking in on us throughout the evening.The food itself was a mixed bag for us. Our favorites were the shishito peppers and hamachi kama (came in literally smoking)! Flavorful with good textures. The Geisha roll is worth trying too!It's likely because this restaurant is Japanese fusion, but we felt the shiitake agagedashi could use some salt. The butter and mushrooms had a great umami flavor, but I just needed a pinch of salt to remind myself of a classic agedashi dish. The hamachi chili was good by ingredients... though we felt the orange was overpowering compared to the yellowtail. Lastly, the madai crudo was alright. Nothing too special to write home about.Overall, perhaps we needed to select other dishes for a fuller experience.

I've been here several times now for lunch - love the Bento Boxes!! I've had the steak, chicken, pork belly, and I think salmon - they change these up a bit every once in a while. Service is always lovely, and food is excellent (including the ramen and sushi!) Atmosphere is upscale and they take ApplePay for when you forget your wallet!

Great service and wonderful menu options. The sushi looked amazing though we wanted something warm so we got the ribeye Bento box and the gyudon. The meat and everything tasted delicious and we will be back to try more items next time!

Beautiful elegant restaurant with lots of windows, even on a rainey day it was bright in the restaurant. We had a party of 7 and had a reservation, still there were tables available. Definitely a great spot for a cozy dinner on a Sunday evening. I had to get the pomegranate salmon which was on a special menu. You can specify how you want your salmon cooked (go for medium!! It's so good!). The lotus root chips and sweet potatomash were devine. To go with, I also got the shishito peppers (my favorite) and tofu shiitake mushroom app. My dad got the cucumber salad app and it has a hint of spice! Very refreshing. We also ordered salmon sashimi, karage, tom kha, assorted sashimi over salad, vegetable tempura, eel nigiri... Everything was beautifully plated and delicious and came out staggered. Staff is very friendly and bonus we ordered hot water for 3 of us and it actually came out! My parents love it so much they already made plans to come back when their summer guests visit.

Everything was delicious, except the tuna tartare- it was not our favorite. It was an anniversary, so they gave us champagne and the service was great. Went earlier on a Friday night and it was slower, but nice for a date.

The only saving grace was the sushi we ordered. We arrived little before our reservation but they were so overbooked the host told us to wait outside in the cold. The server was not attentive at all! Shishito peppers took over 30 minutes to come out only to be bland and not appetizing. We watched our drinks sit the bar for long periods of times before our server grabbed them. Not to mention the numerous times he walked by our table and didn't apologize for the delay or even a simply removal of glasses and plates we finished. Doubtful we will return again.

My husband and I just enjoyed lunch at Musashi. Cheris was our server. She was friendly, helpful in explaining the menu and very professional. We enjoyed miso soup, and spicy edamame. I had soft shell crab. My husband had several different sushi rolls. Everything was delicious. Nice atmosphere.
