Muchacho you had my heart at happy hour! The good: Great queso!Nice waiter named Peter Daily happy hour from 2-6 in the bar area. Drinks and appetizers for $7. The bad:Parking can be rough because it's in southlake town square.The bar area gets really packed during happy hour. Overall, great ambiance and good happy hour prices!See you soon Muchacho!!

My husband and I were excited to try this restaurant. The customer service and ambiance is great, the food...not so much.Tex Mex is simple and never pretentious but the food tastes like the chef/owner is trying too hard. It was not Tex Mex in my opinion. I'm not sure what it was.There was no spice or Mexican flavors to the rice and charro beans. The taco, enchiladas and tostado were bland as well. Even the basic red and green salsas were something other than Tex Mex. They were tangy and bland, like a grocery store blend.Needless to say we were disappointed, especially because it's pricey. Sadly, the food is not worth the price.

Really great service. We had an early dinner here tonight Nov 22. We were able to be seated on the patio. Our waitress Carly was serving on the patio. Carly was friendly, funny, and totally took great care of us. We were able to just get into happy hour (ends at 6pm). Carly made sure that we were well taken care of. Drinks came fast, appetizer came fast and dinner was right on time! Carly helped to pack up left overs and gave us a little salsa and chips to goThis was our first time here. Carly took the time to walk us through the menu and make suggestions.The ambiance on the patio was warm and friendly. We like to people watch, so we got to do a bit of that as well!Definitely will be back! Thank you again to Carly. She really made the evening very special for us!

The tortilla chips were good, but the salsas were okay compared to other Tex-Mex spots in Dallas. Same goes for the enchiladas, thought they were okay. The ambiance of the place was nice, lots of families and people. There was a short wait time to be seated. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Service was good, and the owner constantly checked up to make sure we had everything we needed.

We came for happy hour and asked to sit at a booth in the bar and the hostess told us we had a 1 and half hour time limit. Not sure why they would limit how long a patron could be there. Besides that the food and service is pretty good and consistent with this being our 3rd time. The margs are small and pricey for $17 each but taste good so be prepared to splurge. The happy hour prices are much better and is Monday-Sunday 2-6.

Stopped in for a last mixture dinner. The menu to me doesn't have a ton of options but sometimes simple is better. The empanadas were so good I almost ordered a second batch. Honestly all the food was good even the salads and queso.The drinks though not pictured were excellent. Service was great and it's not super big in the inside. Definitely gives off intimate setting vibes. The lights are down low which I always. We will for sure come back.

This location is really nice and a great vibe and feel, catered to families and travels and business people alike. Drinks looked good but we didn't order any, but our food was very good along with the chips and guacamole.I had the brisket tacos with corn tortillas and it was very tender and juicy, the rice was delicious and the beans were tasty. I ordered guacamole too for my tacos but it was probably not necessary as they put an avocado slice on each taco. My colleague had the fajitas with steak and shrimp and it looked great she polished off her food. Great texture mex option in the town square area

We came here on a whim for lunch as we were shopping in the area. I was pleasantly surprised! The service was great. The food was delicious. I had chicken soft tacos on handmade tortillas. The rice was probably the best I've had at a restaurant and the charro beans were cooked perfectly. We also shared the queso and guacamole, both I would order again. They have a lunch menu that we ordered from. Everything is reasonably priced and overall, it was a great meal. We will be back when in the area for sure.
