Not a lot of pizza places I can claim as good in Texas. But I was pleasantly shocked with who good the pizza at Mister01 in Mansfield! Used to be the old R Taco location , it's not a big restaurant but man do they dish out some good pizza!I ordered the Star Meat Lovers 13in pizza and I was extremely impressed with the taste! Ricotta cheese, the sauce, the meat. Perfect crust and cook. I ate the whole pizza in one sitting. Service was excellent, great and clean atmosphere. I will be back!

Jonathan was our waiter and he was excellent! He's very kind to my granddaughter and even teased her about having to pay for the check. First thing you did was bring my granddaughter a piece of pizza dough on a plate with some flour and had punched a smiley face in it. That's a great idea as it gives smaller children something to do! We ordered a small cheese pizza with extra cheese and had him cut it into eight pieces. It really is the perfect pizza for a kid. I actually was very surprised at how small small was for $10. I also ordered one of the star pizzas to go. I asked him to actually cut it in half and put it two boxes and he graciously did so. I haven't tasted that yet, but I look forward to it. I would say that this place was more bougie than I thought but I do enjoy trying new places.I almost choked when I got the check but then again I could've looked at all the prices before I got there so I knew what I was getting into. So I guess I am saying that it's a tad pricey. The flavor was very good. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. I don't normally eat thin crust, but I really enjoyed this! They definitely do not overdo it with the pizza sauce which I appreciate. It's a place I might go back if somebody else was paying! Overall, a good experience!

It was a quiet Thursday afternoon when my friends and I came to get some lunch. Our waiter Cameron was very attentive and took care of us. The pizzas were pretty and delicious. I think overall it was a good visit. We didn't run into any issues and the restaurant was clean. You can make any of the pizzas into a star shape for an additional $2.

This pizza joint is one of the best around! Do you like your pizza with a thin crust, crispy, light and made with high quality ingredients and toppings? Look no further! We found the staff very accommodating, they provided great fast service and they even brought out some pizza dough for my granddaughter to play with, as well as crayons and coloring pages. I enjoyed the classic Margarita, my son tried the star Luca, my hubby had the Maria and added prosciutto. All were fantastic in their own way...the pepperoni pizza was great as well. We shared a salad (which was huge) and enjoyed their selection of Italian beers and wines. Try a glass of the Super Tuscan...it's a winner!

I stumbled upon this little gem, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the restaurant manager with a warm welcome and a great sense of humor--such a refreshing experience. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, making it worth the wait! We started with the Burrata, which was incredibly fresh, made exclusively for the restaurant. It was served with arugula, fresh tomatoes, and an amazing thin focaccia bread. The waiter brought out balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and a fantastic spicy olive oil that we drizzled over everything--it truly transported me back to Italy! Next, we had the Marco Pizza. It came with a perfectly thin crust, topped with Italian tomato sauce, fresh burrata stracciatella cheese, arugula, fresh tomatoes, Italian parmesan, and we added fresh avocado on top. Our waiter, Margie, was absolutely wonderful and well-informed. Her recommendations were spot on!I can't wait to return and try the entire menu. Great job to everyone involved--thank you!

This pizza spot offers tasty pizzas, a fun vibe, and has an interesting story. On their website (and in-store) you can read that this restaurant gets its name from "Chef Renato Viola came to settle in Miami Beach under the O1 Visa category, reserved for those with 'Extraordinary Artistic Ability' "While their traditional wood-fire pizzas are delicious, they are known for their star pizzas. There's a variety of both to choose from. The star pizzas come in a unique star shape and have ricotta stuffed crustThis place was certainly bumping, as it took 25+min to get seated. It also took a long time to get our food especially considering how fast wood fired pizzas cook. It could have been the fact that they were busy or perhaps understaffed, but the service was lacking. Everyone seemed focused on and no one was particularly friendly or pleasant. Well, I take that back, there was a server (not ours) who brought us our food, took our plates away and thanked us for dining. This was a little frustrating as our actual server never checked in on us during our meal. I wanted to order another drink, but I didn't have the opportunity to order one. Also, when I was handed my check (after paying) no words were exchanged... "no thank you," "no have a good night"... nothing. Again, the saving grace was that other pleasant server who cared to say something as we were walking out.The interior is modern, clean, and welcoming. Their music selection is slightly outdated (old school 50-60s selection), and maybe it's because we were there so long waiting on our table and then food, but we heard some of the same songsOne thing I did like is that for to-go orders the open the box for the person to ensure that the order is correct. This might let some heat out, but it assures the patron that they are leaving with the correct order. Some tips:Order one of their specialty star pizzas. If you have a big group maybe order a couple pizzas, and get the Caesar salad. This salad comes in a big bowl to be shared family-style. There are also a variety of in-store olive oils for you to try or purchase. They places a spicy olive oil on our table and it gave the pizzas a nice kick. If you have a birthday there you can get a Nutella pizza with a candle placed in the center.. also all the staff will sing happy birthday and shake utensils (even in the back of the restaurant). It was a nice touchAgain, this spot has a fun vibe, and has great food. They might want to work slightly on their service, but it could have been a one-off. Regardless, it's still worth checking out Cheers!!

Delicious Italian style thin crust pizza. The Star Luca and Bella Margherita were very good. Thin chewy crust with quality ingredients. Everything was great, including the service.

OMGoodness! This is our first time here and we LOVED it! My kiddos brought me here for my birthday. Not only is their food delicious BUT the service was extraordinary GREAT. Very clean. The waitresses and waiters always with a smile and very attentive. I always say that if the management is well run, you will have a good business. Idk if it was the owner or manager there, but he was busy working and making us feel welcomed. Not only my family sang to me, but even the cooks and the people that were dining there. The dessert pizzas (with a candle) were compliment of the restaurant. 100% recommend this restaurant in Mansfield!
