Oh my goodness, why have we not stopped in here before? We're life-long residents of Fort Worth and have never stopped in until this evening. From now on, anytime we're visiting Sundance Square we'll definitely be stopping in. This will be a wonderful place to walk around after dining at the square. This is not your typical gallery. Tal, the owner, has a very eclectic collection of artwork, sculptures, and bronzes. When we there a Dr. Seuss exhibition was on display. It was very whimsical and comical. What an incredible treasure to have in downtown Fort Worth.

Wow we had a great time here Kendall rocks!! The Macrons from Savor Pâtisserie were to die for. Acre Distillery was awesome and the drinks were great and the tenders went above and beyond, Feastivities served up the snacks and it was on..The Gallery has been around 25 years according to Tal Milan who was more than involved and gracious as could be, while Rome Milan painted in the entrance we even got a digital caricature by Joseph Lambert.I must say this was too much fun and the crowd was amazing Kendall and her group were outstanding I took plenty of pictures to share and will definitely be coming back to Milan Gallery to see future displays

Great gallery that my wife and I discovered through a Yelp event. There was a ton of absolutely beautiful art to look at - half of which was focused on Dr. Suess which was excellent and the other half was Texas art. If you're looking for a painting of Blue Bonnets - look no further. Many beautiful options to choose from. While we were here for an event, we will definitely be back as my wife saw many paintings that she was interested in.Check them out!

What a wonderful gem that I was able to discover through the Yelp Elite event! The Milan Gallery has a beautiful and eclectic array of artwork, sculptures, gemstones, and paintings. There was an absolutely amazing display of Dr. Seuss artwork. I wanted so desperately to take one of the hand painted resin designs off the wall, especially the Sea Turtle! I would definitely stroll back into this lovely venue. What I liked about this art gallery is how approachable and welcoming the owners are. They seem to genuinely love what they do and they are not your typical pretentious snob art owners. Really he is FAR from that and it was awesome! Check this place out next time you are in Sundance Square. Even if you cannot afford the artwork it is worth the time to check out and see what they have displayed.

This isn't the kind of gallery that has huge cold floors, giant stark walls with a few hanging pieces, and people quietly shuffling about whispering to one another. Milan Gallery celebrates artwork in a much more casual and colorful way, and that's something I really love! Owned and operated by Fort Worth locals (who have contributed several beautiful pieces on display), Milan is a smorgasbord of local, national, and international works of every medium you can think of. Paintings, sculptures, glass work, jewelry, prints, photographs... Id say it's mostly paintings, but in every style imaginable. Abstract works, photo-realistic, impressionist, classical, and more. My favorites are probably the works by Thomas Arvid (I just love wine! I also heard there is an 11 year waiting list for an original creation), Gregory Beck (his sculptures are absolutely gorgeous and so graceful. I love the human figure and his works are extremely elegant), and Ford Smith (he paints the most vibrant and whimsical landscapes). The Dr. Suess works are amazing, of course! MMilan Gallery has shows all the time, so just keep an eye on their website or facebook for upcoming exhibition information. The best part of Milan is that on most Friday and Saturday nights, there's an incredible pianist playing and Tal (the owner) is pouring wine! The staff here is so knowledgeable about the artists and make you feel like family. Tal and Kelly have been especially helpful and welcoming, which makes all the difference in a gallery experience. This is a definite Sundance Square treasure, and I plan to spend many an hour exploring Milan Gallery.

What can I say about the Milan Gallery? It's the class of Sundance Square but not stuffy at all. The staff and artwork are top notch. We have been regulars there for quite a while just enjoying walking around and seeing everything from paintings to sculptures. We like just hanging out and talking to the owner. This would always be a good ending to a night out downtown. The artwork is not cheap you will not go in there and decorate your entire home for a couple of hundred dollars. They have everything from Dr. Seuss to Michelangelo. Yes I said Michelangelo. For a small Fort Worth gallery they have some extremely high quality pieces. They quite often have shows featuring top artists. Thomas Arvid, Gabe Lenard, and Patrick Guyton have been the best ones I've seen there in the last 6 months. Stop by, meet the artist, meet the staff, have a glass of wine or a beer, and oh spend a bunch of money (hehehe).Even if there is not a special show, stop by and just enjoy. Many nights there is a piano player that really makes the experience special.A word of warning, after you've been a regular for a while just looking at the art will not be enough. You get to where you want some of them for your own. I think we're up to 12 pieces now.Stop by and Tal and his staff will really make you feel welcome.

Milan Gallery is a great place to check out. The Gallery is located near Sundance Square. So it is a easy walk to check out the art. The art work is beautiful. They have different showing all the time. My favorite is Arvid his style of art is amazing. The Gallery has different artist represented all the time , so you have to go often to see what is on display. The staff and the owners are very nice people and very willing to tell you all about the art work. The price of the art work can be high but to some it is just right. And the Gallery has some very prestigious artist on display you will be amazed at who they have. And since they are selling the art work they have different art and artist on display.

Oh I love this gallery! Last night at the yelp event, I remembered why!Whimsical art, Texas art, great art!So much to see and discover! Additionally, Wild Acre Distillery allowed us to sample some of their products which were very very good. How awesome to live in Texas where besides craft beers, one can enjoy Texas made vodka, bourbon, even cinnamon bourbon as well as others. Those tending bar were informative about their products and I am definitely going to plan a trip to tour their distillery! Bartenders fashioned excellent cocktails for the event and were incredibly quick and generous with their pours. The food at the event was not just tasty but so beautifully presented. Feastivities did a fab job. The macaroons were so pretty and went well with th Dr. Seuss art! There was so much to see I can't wait to get back and be able to spend some time at Milan Gallery. My favorite part of the event was the pianist. I've forgotten his name (shame on me) but he was very very good. I played a little "whats that tune" and he managed to play some of my all time favorites- Glenn Campbell, Scott Joplin, even the Beatles! The evening was put together as only Kendall, our community leader can do. Unfortunately, my plus one was feeling poorly, so I didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked. However I did get the chance to meet face to face with Yelpers I follow on the regular. That might be my favorite reason to attend Yelp Events, meeting new friends! Events like these are so fun because ALL YOUR SENSES are delighted! Great art, great music, fab food and drinks and fun people! What a gathering of all that makes me love Fort Worth Yelp!

Beautiful pieces of artwork, and an amazing space. This gallery is quirky but elegant, filled with artwork all over the walls but well thought out spacial and color palette wise. It is big enough to house a lot of artists and their different mediums but small enough to feel intimate and not to be too overwhelming. I really like how this gallery has affordable pieces available as well as the tens of thousands of dollar pieces that really them the make money. Although it is normal to have a range for cost, the range of this gallery is actually rather big but it also makes it more inviting and approachable. I would have normally given this gallery four stars as that is my go to normal rating for great places but I am giving this five because of how wonderful they were to the Yelpers at the event last night. Any establishment that inviting, even though they have THAT much liability, is serious a five star joint! :)

I love visiting the Milan Gallery. I can't afford anything in the place but if I hit the lottery, I would buy one of Cynthia Bryant's sweeping bluebonnet filled Texan landscape paintings. Oh yes. Yes I would. The owner of the gallery, Ms. Milan, is a reknowned impressionist painter who works in thick strokes creating dream-like floral and garden images. I would get one of her large pieces too. This gallery is a great place to just enjoy for a half hour. If you're in Sundance Square I recommend popping in to see some great local artist creations.
