Mi Ranchito Mexican

My wife and I tried Mi Ranchito for the first time this evening. A quaint location, well decorated inside. The service was fantastic. Our waiter was a joy. I ordered the Steak a la Mexicana and enjoyed every bite. My wife had a combo plate. We will be back.

I can't give 5 stars for everything on the menu, but my experience today at lunch was great. I know there are several comments about the service not being good and people being rude, but the waitress I just had was very nice and told me her favorites on the lunch menu. I listened to her and got the #25 which is Enchiladas Verde (mine was with chicken). The verde sauce is special. The white cheese they use is also great. I like the rice a lot as well. I'm not the biggest fan of their salsa or refried beans, but I still ate some of it. Price came out to less than $10 before tip. I'll be back for this dish for sure!

We tried this place based on the reviews, and this was a major disappointment. The positives, we love independently owned, hole in the wall Mexican restaurants, and the service was good. The food was some of the poorest quality I've ever experienced. The tamale tasted and looked like those that you can get from a can. The beef in the taco was mushy and questionable. The food was swimming in grease. We really wanted to like this place based on the reviews, but this was not worth a visit at all.

Food is ok. Bought menudo...large bowl but it mostly was liquid. It had at most about 8 spoonful of the menudo. Also, too much bay leaf taste for my taste. Also bought a plate of migas...it was a generous amount for the price.Service was very good! I gave it 3 stars since menudo was the reason I went there and it was not close to average in taste. I will not go back.

Always terrific!!! Hot fresh and service is wonderful!! I'm never disappointed! I could write 50 reviews and they would all be 5*! Wonderful little place to eat!

We love this place! It's a traditional Mexican restaurant with a Tex-Mex menu and authentic service. We call this place the "Hole in the Wall" because you can drive past it for years without ever noticing it! Try everything on the menu, you won't be disappointed!

We just flew into Dallas from Cozumel. On our way home to Oklahoma City and decided to stop in for dinner. Best Mexican food we've had in a long time, way better than anything we had in Mexico. So we will be saving this location for food stops on future trips.Excellent food and service!

I really love these enchiladas. Like, if I go more than a week without beef enchiladas I start to get wild cravings. The sauce is amazing, the cheese is plentiful, and the beans and rice have always been tasty. It's a cool little hole in the wall joint with quick and friendly service and great enchiladas. Did I mention get the enchiladas?

Definitely a hole in the wall. Awful queso (seems like fake cheese), inedible. The salsa was bland and tasted like tomato paste. Very limited selection of adult beverages. However the carne guisado was good. The tacos, beef enchiladas, tamales and guacamole were average
