Mi Familia Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

They have updated the restaurant since we have been. It looks great! There is still plenty of seating inside and a nice waiting area with four large benches. The staff was friendly and sat our large table in a timely manner. The food was just as delicious as I remember it and the drinks were great. We ordered the beef fajitas and our son ordered the chicken fajitas quesadillas. There was only one mix up on our order and the waitress had it fixed and in her hand before we could even let her know. We will definitely be visiting again when we are in town.

One in our party is vegetarian, so we where happy that the menu could be adjusted for her eating preferences. Kudos to our server for helping with this. I was not overly impressed with the ambiance, but the food was pretty good. With so many Mexican options in Granbury, it's hard to say if I'd be back, but I would not rule it out. Bottom line: Decent Mexican in Granbury.

I hate to say this but the food here is not very good at all. It's not expensive but I was not at all impressed..Margaritas were good. Bartender was nice and our server was also.

I eat out for the food. So my rating is only about the food. if you have taste buds and want flavor DO NOT EAT HERE! This was the most boring lacking in any kind of flavor I have EVER eaten.?cardboard would have tasted better. I ordered a cheese, enchilada, rice and beans and a taco. The taco didn't have meat all the way through it so both ends with the taco or meatless and the meat had zero flavor and I mean zero no salt, no pepper no nothing cheese enchilada was not even lukewarm, the beans were good but not real refried beans, nice and thick they were very soupy and the rice was the only thing that was decent. This place is good for 90 year old people who have no taste buds and like very bland food. I was very disappointed because when I drive by here, I see a lot of cars, but looking at the clientele inside it's a bunch of old white people, a bunch of workers and I don't see any Mexicans eating here so that's a good indication to move on. Terribly boring food even my guest made a comment about boring food and didn't finish the meal.

Always a good experience here. Great service, fast and fresh lunches. Food always looks and tastes great.Try a lunch special or some Street Tacos!

This place it kind of hit and miss. If it's on a good day, it's great! The food has good flavor. The margaritas though aren't good anymore. They used to be my absolute favorite, but now they just taste like a nasty mix. Service can be great!! But if you get the cranky lady...well she's just cranky, always. Some servers are just great. The place is nice, clean and still new.

Food is about 7 out of 10 stars. Service good but ambience in the new location is a zero. Gray walls, glaringly bright lights, no Mexican decor, etc.

I was not impressed with their cheese enchiladas at all, barely any cheese in them. We sat there at least 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged, and it was not busy at all . Unfriendly waitress acted like we were an inconvenience. Will not go back, will stick with Garcia's since they are consistently good..

I got a beef taco and a cheese taco and cheese enchilads everything was so good and the queso with an order of homemade tortillas soyummy and the waitress was so sweet

Really packed on a weekday for lunch!A lot more seats than before. Open seating with no waiting at the long bar. Same great staff that is constantly moving. Expect a 15-20 minute wait during the busy lunch hour but worth
