Memphis Live Bar & Grill

This place got worse and not better. TVs not working, and out of many bar staples. I wanted to say the bartender was not good, but in hindsight, he may have just hard time making something out of nothing with his struggle ingredients. Went on a Friday, and it was practically empty. There is no excuse for running out of basic items like lemonade for the drinks and many other items. Credit card machines were down, only accepted cash or cash app...like come on.Grand opening, grand closing. It's a no for me dawg. Don't recommend, won't be back. We really tried to support this B.O.B.

I try to support my people but it's been failing hard lately. We went on a Saturday and the security was cool. The problem came when we ordered our drinks and they literally didn't come. After 1 hour, yes one hour, we went to the bar and had to reorder. The waitress who took our order disappeared. I ordered a Crown Apple but got a Crown Peach. On top of that it was mostly ice and no alcohol. My homie ordered a Hennessy but got Jack. The place has a nice setup but they have to get the bar straight. Perhaps I would visit again once they work the bugs out. Oh and the parking was pretty full. Don't get towed parking in the hotel parking lot.

First time coming to this bar and such a great atmosphere! The manager Grey is amazing and great customer service! Definitely going to keep coming back!

The food was good. Everything was fresh and tasted good. The mozzarella sticks didn't give Cajun and not sure if the Cajun wings were Cajun or maybe another flavor. The waitress was nice. We were the only ones in for an hour before people started arriving but we did get to the establishment early. It's a nice place if you want chill vibes and good music. If you want to experience it with a crowd come later than 7:30 PM. Overall good food, service, & ambiance.

Food wasnt good, had less than half of the menu available. Over charged items to ticket and did not fix. Had to go through bank to stop payment.

Great food & perfect location for a good time. Live band and a amazing DJ is the cherry on top!

Made online reservation and informed security upon arrival and he looked clueless as to what I was saying. Was seated right away as it was not crowded at all for a saturday night. Maybe 9 tables out of 30 occupied. The décor and set up are nicely done. We asked for a menu and was told to scan QR code. It wouldn't work on our phones so waitress named Jayda used her phone. We asked for a physical menu and was told they don't have any. Asked for wine and was told no wine. Asked for the Hookah menu and was told they didn't have one. I asked for blueberry mint and was told they don't have that flavor. Asked for drink menu and was told they don't have one. QR code only showed us the few happy hour drinks from website. It wasn't happy hour. So we went with basic drinks. Ordered food. 1 catfish plate, 1 grilled wings and 1 fried sweet Teriyaki wings. Waited almost 45 minutes and fish finally arrives. Not other 2. Jayda comes back to table and said they messed up my grilled wings so I asked where was the other fried wings and her answer was I don't know! Finally received other wings about 10 minutes later. I asked for ranch and was told they don't have ranch. Fish and wings were good. The greens tasted canned and mac n cheese is not baked and just basic. Staff plays around dancing and smoking hookah with security. Asked for a manager and was told he was in kitchen. Never came to table. We ordered more drinks. One drink wasn't made well. It was tart. We sent it back and watched the bartender pour the drink that was sipped on back into the shaker and add ice and was going to reserve same drink. That is not sanitary. A new drink should have been made. Get the bills and 2 of them were wrong. The band was just ok. They were having mic issues. I don't get a Beale street vibe from this place. Maybe for the younger generations this place is nice. Lots of potential but not sure I would visit soon when I come back to town.
