Taiwan small eats with BIG flavor. Friendly workers and a simple restaurant for a quick lunch or a family dinner. It's a bit cramped at the entrance but you order up at the counter. Feel free to look over the menu at your table. They will bring your food to you but if they're busy you may need to self serve and grab utensils yourselves at the side station. A8 - Crispy Garlic Fish Filet (with rice or noodle) $12.95WOW, I love a good fried fish and this was the best fry I've had in a while. It's light and fluffy with a delicate fish inside. So flavorful dusted with 5 spice powder, fried minced garlic and chilis and green onions. Portion is huge (8 pieces!) for a great deal. It comes with pickled daikon radish and braised egg. B7 - fried braised chicken leg $7.95So juicy and crispy with 5 spice powder, can't go wrong and so filling. Can be a snacks appetizer or even a meal for some. The meat is thick and juicy. B2 - deep fried tofu $6.95Fried tofu with basil leaves, fun snack and delicious! The tofu is soft inside. A11 - Braised beef brisket (with rice or noodle) $14.95HUGE portion, beef brisket is tender and juicy packed with flavor. The radish and carrots were soft and braised well too. It also comes with seaweed salad and peanuts which were a great pairing. Honestly can't find a lot of good Taiwanese food in DFW (I mean... other than my mom's house). Highly recommend giving this place a try! Also, save some room for dessert, the grass jelly and soft tofu (do hua) is so good. It's 三圓台式甜品

small cozy decor...located in a hidden place behind Ranch 99 Carrollton. It gained reputation from being located at RAnch 99 Frisco then moved to this place.Fried chicken thigh rice 5/5 YUggge portion, thick almost as good as my fave dish at King's noodles.Beef noodle soup 5/5Super yummy and flavorful, much better than the same dish served at many other Taiwan restaurants across DFW. Plenty of tender beef chunksPopcorn chicken 1/5bleh..don't recommend. They put too much filler, starch or flour and made each piece round and same size. Will never get this here again.

We weee craving for some good Chinese foods in Carrollton and found this. The service was great as well as the foods. We want to come back to try everything on the menu. It's a quiet little restaurant that has a lot of traditional dishes along with many yummy desserts. The portion sizes were great, too. I had the chicken rice plate (forgot what they called it), and my daughter had their beef noodle soup. So good! You can tell the noodles were hand pulled, made in-house. Lastly, we got desserts there. My daughter said their mango drink was delicious. I got a bowl of their dessert with various treats. Didn't think I would be able to finish the whole bowl, but it was way too yummy to stop. Will definitely be back for more.

The taiwanese night market steak is still a hot! The pepper taste is strong but yummy. I love how the noodles taste in this dish.

Great Taiwanese street food restaurant. We found this restaurant from my book mark of a friend. This restaurant is between Dallas and Ft Worth. The restaurant has long menu. Our time is limited. So we have small dish here. We have the fried chicken leg to begin. The fried coating is delicious. The second dish is the night market sizzle beef noodle. I like beef steak. It is really nice. The last dish is Taiwanese shave ice with glass jelly, some miscellaneous items. Is refreshing. Overall our experience is great. Price is affordable, and taste is good.

When in for a quick dessert takeout. The staff there were friendly and knowledgeable. I asked if I could sub things since I don't like beans and they said, of course. All of the desserts you can do that. They were quick and skilled the whole time. I do look forward to go back and trying other desserts. The entrée menu looks temping as well. The restaurant was clean and lighting was good.

Fantastic addition to the plaza in Carrollton. Having access to both solid Taiwanese food and desserts in the area is a big plus. If you're missing those flavors from Taiwan, this is a good place to satisfy some of those cravings. The fried porkchops are delicious and portions are generous. Entrees are reasonably priced and I have yet to leave this place hungry. Fried Pork Chop with Rice - The quintessential Taiwanese plate of comfort food. The pork chop is crispy and completely delicious. Reasonably salted and accompanied by a hard boiled egg. Don't mind the broccoli... I consider it more a decoration to add some color to the dish, but you can also tell yourself its there to make it seem like you're eating healthy. We all know who the real star of the dish is. The pork chop is fantastic and goes well with the steamed rice that has a bit of the braised minced pork and drippings on it as well for flavor. Braised Minced Pork Rice - This fatty pork dish is another Taiwanese favorite. The pork and fat melts into the rice. The medley of fat and carbs is a party in the mouth. This dish just straight takes me to my happy place. The egg and bok choy are welcomed addition to changeup the flavors of the pork and rice when you need a bit of distraction.Crispy Garlic Fish Fillet - The fish here has a strong and salty garlic flavor to it. Filets are well fried while still tender. Strong flavor profile and absolutely delicious. Mung Bean Smoothie - This drink is thick and delicious for those that enjoy sweetened mung beans. A great dessert or compliment to any meal for the masochist that wants to burst their stomach, albeit it would be worth the pain. Taro Ball Desserts - All the taro ball desserts with mochi like rice cakes are fantastic. Not overly sweet at all. The taro ball series are fantastic and if you like the coconut like flavors, the E-1 taro series dessert is fantastic. Overall, the service here was some of the best I've had. Staff has been very helpful and courteous. Food is great if you enjoy Taiwanese comfort foods. Be sure to go ahead and order a dessert to round out your meals when you order an entree because they give you a $2 discount on the dessert from section A-E on their menu.

We came again today hoping to try their tofu series. They're still testing flavors for the tofu series but we were given the opportunity to taste test it. The tofu is super soft, tender, rich, flavorful, and just right! It's the sweet type and cold which is great for a hot summer dessert. The toppings and flavors this week fit our tastes perfectly. The owner said they'll be testing more toppings ideas in the coming weeks as he wants to innovate to find the Mei Wei flavor. Service was excellent as always. Wasn't too busy. Still 5 stars.

Recently coming back from Taiwan left us craving good Taiwanese food. Found this place on Yelp and hopped in the car... you order and pick up your food Kiosk style. Ordered two items for dine in, Beef Noodle Soup and Night Market Steak cooked Medium. 2/10 The Beef Noodle Soup, felt bland. The meat was tender but the noodles were too soft and the soup was bland. The soup had little green onions and the pickled greens were okay, different from what I'm used to. I asked for some extra green onions, the cashier asked her coworker who just coldy said it was already on the bottom. 0/10 Night Market Steak, was returned without a single bite. Looked okay, the hot plate was definetly not hot enough to serve on. The first cut into the steak felt too soft, like it was still rare. Cutting through I noticed the meat was stringy and raw. This visit was disappointing, my wife left over half her Beef Noodle Soup and I, with an empty stomach. We headed straight to our default Taiwanese food resturant. Funny enough, which is located in Frisco, where this resturant used to be in 99Ranch.
