Resurfaced courts, new manager, great community tennis courts! Youth programs, Great accessibility, unpretentious and well-kept! We love this place! My son takes lessons in a group of kids his age (14-17) and also private coaching from Coach Bailey and he LOVES coming -- even in the dead heat of July!!! Nice park beside the facility for walking or hanging out while your kid takes lessons. Or better yet, take a few lessons yourself-

This place needs new management ASAP!! you can never get in touch with the manager in charge I left my phone and email month ago for a fraudulent charge in my account until I finally got tired of never hearing back from him, and or the people in the front desk saying his not available.my best option was to file it with my bank and luckily got my money back. Months later my friend leaves her phone number for a private lessons and hears Back from him in days (intrusting huh). I will never be coming back here again. Also I don't know how to get In touch with the corporate office but if they happen to see this please email me at: [email protected].

This place needs some updating. Courts are ok, nets are horrible. Ignore the weeds and trees growing through the fences. In the day probably a nice place but past it's prime.

After they resurfaced all the courts over the summer of 2018, this is a great non pretentious facility for all serious players. Staff is very friendly and open drills are competitive. I prefer this over country club tennis. If you are looking for a great workout, I would recommend this place.

This tennis hot spot is intense!! Quite a popular due to their many daily drills. YES.......I said daily drills. Drill times are also available during the evenings on most weekdays. I had heard through the grapevine about McLeland being famous for their daily noon drills which last for 90 minutes. Noon drills, and all drills for that matter, are not limited to specific number of players so the number of attendees can vary along with the level of play. The noon drills are held inside and split into an intermediate and more advanced group to keep the challenge level appropriate for their customers. This center seems to have a lot of regulars but still very friendly to new comers. The only drawback I have is they have no drills for beginners. And although the drills are open to all, they recommend a rating of at least a 3.0 and the intensity can be quite intimidating to those who don't have a lot of experience at the net. I feel drills for beginners, adult beginners that is, are extremely important to help mature players progress since most players begin as adolescents.Tony is the best tennis pro I've had to date. If I have private instruction, this is my go to tennis pro. Too bad he not closer to home, he's quite popular during the weekdays and hope to get the next open slot weekdays evenings.

The indoor courts are awesome during the hot summers and cold winters. However, be aware that the music played on the indoor courts is raunchy sexist and vulgar, i.e definitely NOT family friendly.

I'm writing this review due to the fact that they charge $2.00 for bringing your own string that they don't offer or sell addition to string labor $20.00. Staff or Donovan has no reason to give for the charge.

I really enjoy playing at McLeland! They have a ton of outdoor courts and two indoor courts. The doubles drills they offer in clinics are fun and competitive for beginners to advanced. The people there are super nice and friendly. The staff is fun and knowledgeable. It is a great part of my routine and I drive up from Dallas just to get in a good practice. It is worth it every time!

I recently signed my son up for the McLeland's UTR Program under Coach Scott. Prior to signing my son up for the program he was taking private lessons, so I had the opportunity to see the Program on several occasions and was impressed with what I saw, and felt that it would be beneficial to my sons progress. I knew I had done the right thing when my son told me after one of his lessons that he really liked the lessons, the one on one player competition, the training drills, the other players and Coach Scott. That although it was tough and he had to work hard, that it was worth it. He then thanked me for signing him up for it, because he wasn't sure he was going to like it. After just a few weeks I can see that my son is more motivated and confident. Now he is always looking forward to going to the weekly lessons. My son also told me that he feels his game is improving, and I have also seen some of his stokes improve, but more importantly he feels more secure about his performance. At this point, since we have only been with the program for 4 weeks, I just hope that the program continues to excel so that it will propel my son to meet his tennis goals. Overall from what I have seen so far I am very impressed with the intense drive Coach Scott has, and I can see that he is committed to doing the best he can to help all the students. I highly recommend his program to other parents. Frank & Michael G

Me and my brother in law signed up for the family plan with Mcleland Tennis Center last fall and enjoyed playing there. When Covid happened in March we ended our membership because of the lockdown and scare along with the hours changing to no longer meet our needs. However, even though we have had over 20 phone calls to the main staff, several emails, voicemails and texts to the manager Scott Bailey, they have still not closed our account 5 months later. I was fraudulently charged in July, and my brother in law just received another email today about how we are past due on our account by almost $100. We have been told in person, in writing, and on the phone that our accounts are closed and this issue has been resolved but it clearly hasn't. They are scamming people trying to fraudulently charge their cards and make them feel like there's nothing they can do to close their account. The front desk employees who have the power to open new accounts all claim they do not have the power to close existing ones, and Scott Bailey, the manager, almost never responds to texts, phone calls, voicemails, or emails until I go up to the center and speak to him in person which I have had to do multiple times.
