Salsa is obviously your first impression of a place and I was nervous about the food bc the salsa wasn't good. Luckily the food was good! Hubby and I shared the combo fajitas and it was huge for 2 people! Plus each person got their own tortillas and rice/bean plate! I also got a strawberry margarita which wasn't too shabby for the price! Had their cute Christmas decor up too! And our waitress was super awesome! She didn't seem to be bothered by us being annoying lol

While on the rode wanted to try some Tex Mex. From Yelp reviews this looked good. Madison was our waitress and took great care of us. Chips and queso are served when you sit down. I had cheese chili relleno with charo beans and rice. Soo good fresh cooked to order. Tiki hubby had tamales and beef enchiladas. Cute clean restaurant with a delicious Tex Mex.

I love this place!The restaurant is clean and comfortable. Service is great. We were quickly seated and our orders taken. They brought out Chips, Salsa and Queso!Yummy!The food is really good. We had:Beef & Chicken Fajita Burrito covered with Queso and served with Beans and Rice!Chili Releno Stuffed with Taco Beef covered in Queso and served with Beans and Rice!Our meals was Hot and Very flavorful !

This is a Fearing family favorite, since we moved to Denton from Spring Branch in Houston; the very best Mexican restaurant in town, where my father, Joseph L. Fearing III took us from our Texas Woman's University area home. The tamales are very good, as are the enchiladas and fajitas. Wash it down with some cerveza! Cheers.Mark F.

Service was good. Nice atmosphere and beautiful lighting and paintings.I had chicken chimichanga and it was stuffed full and grilled perfect.The beans were so tasty!Guacamole perfect and fresh.Salsa had just right amount of spice!Loved everything about this visit including price.

Oh, how I have such a nostalgic, beautiful feeling for this place. I was recently in Denton for a conference and stopped in. It stuck in my memory from the brief time that I lived there, and I'm so glad I did. Back then I was just out of my folks house, and on a night when I had "a little extra money," I had to go to this spot. A beer and some tacos. A step up from the fast food.Don't let my precious statement fool you. It's not expensive or fancy. However, it is so delicious. If you are familiar with Tex-Mex, it's that classic yellow cheese queso, refried beans and rice. In this instance, however, it's a spectacular mix of sodium and complex flavors.What stole the show for me was the brisket tacos (see my photos). Where post Tex-Mex inserts a BBQ taco or a poor imitation of a Birria Taco, this spot provides you a delicious lean beef almost swimming in au jous without being too wet (somehow). I cannot say enough for the flavor, either. If you are in Denton you may be tempted to hit the chains, or the heavily advertised El Matador, but drive past it for this place. You won't regret it!

Ok food...nothing to make me come back though. We tried tacos (different plates), flautas and enchiladas. Price was decent but taste was nothing to brag about. It was clean and server was friendly.

It's been forever since I've had a good relleno and I was so happy to come here for theirs. It was fresh made, not frozen and even slightly charred the way you're supposed to when making them at home to give them that nice smoky flavor. The charro beans and rice were delicious as well as the tamale. I will just be sure to ask for it without the chili next time. The steak nachos were generous and delicious and I love that there is table salsa AND queso! The service was fantastic and friendly.
