Masu Sushi & Hibachi

We went to Masu Sushi on a random Tuesday and had a great experience. The host was super accommodating and helped us even though we didn't have a reservation.We started off at the bar and enjoyed a drink since they had a large party and while we anticipated a 30 minute wait we were sat much quicker. We really enjoyed the Spicy Yellowtail Roll. The hibachi experience was really fun and our personal chef was very personable and cooked a delicious meal.I will say the protein portions for the salmon and mahi mahi were a little small but everything was cooked really well.Will definitely visit again

There are not a lot of good traditional Japanese hibachi places in Dallas. We had been to Masu many years ago and decided to return. We were seated quickly with two other groups and the server took our drink orders. We also ordered a sushi roll. The chef came out shortly thereafter and prepared everything to order. The food and the entertainment were both excellent. We had steak, chicken, shrimp and lobster and they were great. Our family really enjoyed the experience. We will go back!

Overall, this restaurant was OK. The food was just meh. The hibachi grill chef felt like he was on auto pilot and not reading the table/atmosphere. Many things were either under seasoned or over seasoned. But the staff was super friendly, which could make me go back. I do recommend getting reservations if you're doing the hibachi grill.

Please do not come here unless you want to waste your money. food was very salty no flavor at all. Fried rice was over cooked absolutely no flavor and noodles were dried crunchy and not properly sautéed. Vegetables were loaded with teriyaki sauce no good balance. Even the drink was not carbonated. Absolutely one star experience. The only thing that came out good was the eggs on the side I ordered. All Of this for 2 people we paid $100 dollars. ***PLEASE BE AWARE TIP IS NOT OPTIONAL THEY INCLUDE IT ON YOUR BILL.** (Side Notes: tables are very sticky and menu portions are missed advertised and not updated. Portions are smaller)Ending-We made the issue aware to the server on regards of how the food Tasted they offered no resolution or discount. Not very great customer service. Please take this review in consideration if you care about the quality of your food. Have a great day guys! And back to searching for great restaurants in Dfw !

Fried rice was dry, meat tasted old, sashimi was bleh.. Sorry I'm Asian and this was not up to my standards

My wife and I have been going here for years and have never been disappointed! Their Sushi side and the Hibachi side are both Excellent! The food quality and freshness ar top notch! Service is excellent, friendly and has stayed consistent over the years even with an ownership change! They are great for take out as well! Personally, we enjoy their food at least 2 times a month! Sushi is something that you have to trust and we always know that we are in good hands at Sushi Masu! BTW we have gone to many Sushi restaurants and none of them stack up in comparison!

Great little family owned business. Service is quick and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The food is great it's not like the big chain restaurants where they get you in and take your money and then get you out. They care about how your food is made and how you're feeling such a great place. P.S The quarterback for the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes also looked on yelp and ate here so the food must be good!

We love the food! It's always delicious. The best ! My kids always have a great time at hibachi.
