Headed to Mineral Wells, we drove 60 miles out of the way so I could try this place that I bookmarked SO long ago. At 1 pm Saturday afternoon, it was packed. She asked, Smoking or not? WOW! She said it was the last restaurant in Parker County to have smoking. Mike and I were both after a good chicken fry, and we got it! Excellent chicken fry! My corn nuggets and English pea salad were wonderful. Mike slammed down his onion rings and fried okra. But we saved room for brownie dessert, mine with chocolate icing and Mike's plain. What a great meal! Yep, 5 stars, cause nothing beats home cooking! I strongly suggest you make a trip to Tin Top, Texas!

Live in Weatherford but for some reason never had a chance to eat here. Their breakfast was very good! I had the bacon and eggs with pancakes. Definitely recommend. The staff were so friendly and attentive. We will be coming back. Great job!

Place is old and rundown and the smoke colored don't help. The food was barely hot, warm at best. Chicken fried steak was cold and rubbery. Although the pancakes were very decent and the coffee was pretty good. Our server was decent as well. But the food and facility needs some help!

We tried Mary's for breakfast. It was decent. We got seated right away and got coffee and water fast. We started out by sharing a cinnamon roll. It was just okay. A bit dry. My wife had the BEC (bacon, egg, cheese) sandwich. It came with chips. She enjoyed it. I got the Eggs with CFS (chicken fried steak) breakfast. I got sourdough toast and hash browns with it. I added a bit of salt to the CFS and I really enjoyed the entire meal. We're planning on returning to try their all-you-can-eat seafood (Thu, Fri, Sat nights) soon.

Second time eating at this little food heaven. This omelet is absolutely delicious. Staff is so friendly as well.

Been to Mary's Brazos twice in the last two weeks- both times taking out-of-town family visitor's. Me: "Feel like some amazing home cooking?"Them: " yea... chicken fried steak!"Me: "I know just the place!"Over the top food! Best Chicken Fried Steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, and fried okra in Texas! Green beans great, too! Brother liked the baked sweet potato!

The food was fantastic! The service was excellent! Loved it and will be back They have a great menu option with a little bit of everything

The food has always been pretty good and they have good prices, but the smoking is too much. They supposedly have a smoking section but you can't tell it. All the staff smokes at the kitchen area and I really don't think this should be designated as a restaurant unless separate air conditioning is installed.
